Holey Lands last Weekend - Airboat Blast!!!

Just wanted to say and share, last minute some friends offer a weekend trip out the Holey Lands, man we had a blast. First time in a long long time, riding airboats all weekend. Man, now I want an airboat, it was great!!! A lot easier getting around out there with with airboats.... Stayed at their camp, which was really nice camp!!!

It was the last weekend for airboats, they are closing down for about 3 months due to the fact it is so wet. They (SFWM) say that the airboats scare all the wildlife into the water, cause there aren't many dry places left. Hell, didn't see a dear one, but saw alot, I mean alot of gators. Stinks though that they are closing down. I haven't been out there since about May, I just can't believe how wet is was. No way you would even get a few feet off the levy on ATV's, it is pretty deep.
