the plastic insert on the tip of my rod fell out and is fraying my line. i can buy a new fuji tip at walmart but does anybody know if i can just take the plastic insert out and put it on my existing tip?

don't think it is plastic. i think they are ceramic. get another one the same size and hot glue it back in.

yea i just tryed taking an insert out of an old crapy rod and im prety sure i can just glue it back in but i cant seem to get 1 out without breaking it. im about to go buy a fuji tip and destroy it to get the insert out... im thinkng about using garila glue, hot glue any beter?
