im changing the oil and i dont have the owners manual. i just want to know how much oiu to put in. im not used to the hodas Roll Eyes

600cc trans side 800cc engine side. The manual says 560cc trans and 780cc engine. I always put in a little extra. Have been since new never a problem.

The owners manual sais to fill it til its between the 2 marks on the observation window for the engine side. On the transmission side, it sais to take the 6mm(10mm head/philips) bolt out and fill til the oil starts to come out of there.

no, that site is right, but in the manual it sais after u fill it to the "H" line, to start the bike and let it idle for a min, then turn off and add oil if needed

yes u do need to add oil to the transmission side(that side only shows how to do the engine oil change), there is a bolt on the right side in the bottom left hand corner behind the brake (12mm head), drain the oil from there, and then put that back in, and remove the lil bolt just down and to the left of the black fill cap(10mm head/philips) and wait til it comes out of that hole, then put that bolt back in and put the filler cap back on
