I am new to NPR and looking for info on the Trails off Ridge Rd near the 7-11.  I have seen people out there but I want to make sure it is ok to ride there.  Any info would be great.

Thanks

Sorry I didnt Know that the Pasco county Sheriffs department monitored this site.  I thought this was the place to go to talk about this stuff since it is listed as where to ride.  I stand corrected If some one can give me some info PLEASE PM me.

Yeah, you can only talk really about legal places to ride in this forum, like WMAs, ONF, and MX tracks. Unfortunately. We all know places to ride around where we live though, you just gotta risk looking sometimes. We've gotten caught once before, so we don't ride alot anymore unless it's really close to our house.

Thats realy all I was trying to do was to avoid breaking the law.  I dont know the laws here since I am just moved here a few months ago.  At 31 yrs old the last thing I need is legal issues.  So to get this straight the only legal place in or around Pasco county is Croom.

You got it bigb! Closest "legal" place to you is Croom. If you don't own it or have written permission from the owner it is technically "illegal". It's called trespassing. Unfortunately too many idiots (and developers) have screwed up alot of good riding places that no one ever really cared if ya rode there. Also lawsuits haven't helped. I lease some land for cattle close to you and part of it is power line right away and the rest is woods. Great riding area, wish I could trust people to not screw it up and I'd let otheres ride there but I've been around long enough to know better.

Just moved to the river ridge area also.  If anyone knows of some secret place to ride near by please pm me.  The old farts in my neighbor hood get pissed when i start the quads up in my drive.

I hear you about the not letting other people ride your grounds thing.  I wish the world was not the way it is with law suits and people that trash others property.  I don't understand people that litter and destroy property.  I was looking out my front window the other day and watched someone riding a bike throw an empty water bottle on my yard.  I don't understand the lack of respect people have for other people down here.  If I was still in Philly that would be grounds for the old broom handle in the spokes trick on there next pass by my house, and the best part is no one would think bad about me for doing that.  Down here I would be in jail quicker than a blink.  I am still trying to learn the ways of Florida and the Sheriffs department.  When I first move in, someone tried to break into my house.  I heard them, called the PD and told them they better get here quick because I am going to confront them.  This was a 1:00 AM and it took them 1.5 hours to get there.  Now If I start my Quads and ride around I bet they would be there in 1 Min.  I feel the reason is they don't make any money from a strong arm robbery.  However they make $500.00 for you riding in mud.  GO FIGURE
