go to the top and click profile, and then on the left side, it wil give u options and at the bottom, it sais delete account

or you can just look at the left and it says something like notification emails and just stop it that way

Dude, You just joined on Sunday and you already want to delete the account?
If it's as simple as not wanting to receive notifications on new posts just uncheck the notification box.
