Update: I heard that 41st is closed. I heard when you drive down to the end of the road there are 2 security guards that will not allow anyone through. Anyone know if this is true? Has anyone ridden there lately? How are the conditions? (flooded, etc... )

Heard 8th st is a no no now.  Heard people getting tickets out there, anybody been out there lately and can confirm/deny this?

So from aside "hearing" about things, has anybody actually been these last few weeks?  Gonna be going out to 8th st this weekend, unless something really turns me off of it. 

Hear people talking it's closed now, some say it's just got a lot of no tresspassing signs etc..  What's the truth in that?  Worth it?  Or should I just go to 8th?

Yeah, really. lol.  Hey, let's race our sport quad down the street across from a prison yeah man let's do it!!!  But yeah, FPL apparently was having issues with dust and dirt getting kicked into the transformers etc and causing problems. 

I hear FPL put up a fence to keep people out...Any word on that?

I'm going out to 41st tomorrow, if it's too wet I'll try to take pics/let you know.  More than likely, I see myself heading down to the Hump.  Last time I was at 41st, I ran over a fish.

Got family coming down for the holidays, want to try and set up some camping round west palm.  Ain't afraid to drive if need be.  Looking for some place to mud with ATVs, camp, etc.

Trying to see how flooded she is.  Went out to 41st yesterday, and it was an ocean.  My dad swears he ran over a damn fish.     Hopefully somebody reads this before I leave to go out lol.  Don't want to drive an hour for no fun 

Might be going next weekend.  But lately, I've been doing a lot of mudding with the s10 blazer.  Gotta get the dust off the ATCs sooner or later.

Well, I answered my own question on that one.  The place is amazing.  I have a quick question, if anybody reads this.  The Sand Quarry or whatever it is on 167th, how do they feel about the atvs getting in there?  Somebody opened the gate into the "no trespassing" area and about 20 ATVs raced in there.  Just kinda worried things like that might make it a bad run with cops and whatnot in the future. 

Was planning on going today, but work intervened  .  So, I thought I might as well ask if the place is still open.  Haven't heard anything solid about it since June.  Never been out there, so where abouts would be a good place to park so not to attract attention from anybody? 

I'm planning on going out this weekend Saturday in the late noon (first time at the Hump) with a couple old Honda ATC200s.  Anything I should really be wary of?  Already know to stay more in the woods and not act like a total jackass, lol.   Should be good riding after all that rain in the beginning of the week.

EDIT:  Where would be a good place to park?  Or just follow by example if I can?

Got a couple sweet three-wheelers, that I want to keep on 3 wheels, and not do the 4th wheel conversion.

I'm basically looking for any sort of mud hole where I can go, without getting shut down due to my ATCs, etc.

Anywhere in the South/Central Florida area you guys might know of? 

Have heard of the hump thanks to this forum, but so far I've only seen topics from a year or so ago, so I'm not sure if that's still a decent place to go.  Any other places around the Broward County/S. Florida area?  Got a couple of ATCs looking for some good mud.
