She passed her sugar test. She hates needles but was a real trooper after getting stuck 5 times for the test (6 if you count the time they missed). She's scheduled to go to the cardiologist on Oct. 15th to get started on checking out her heart. Alex refuses to race without her so we're out of the hunt this series. Hopefully it still ends up being nothing major and we will be able to hit a few races. I just picked up their quads from Dusty today and Megan was chomping at the bit to ride. Poor kid.
Thanks Jennifer. She's getting a 3 hour glucose test saturday and if that doesn't find the problem we'll have to check her heart. Dr is worried because she's done this twice in the last year. We just can't take the chance of her or anyone else getting hurt at the track until we can be sure it won't happen again. Its killing her not to be able to race, especially since we've missed the last few already.
Planning on being there as long as I can find time to go pick up the kids quads. 2 x 90cc
Update: Life is never predictable. Megan passed out in the bathroom this morning so until we get some tests done she isn't racing. Better safe than sorry.
I was looking forward to today even though we only had one Quad running. Now the other won't stay running so the Pee Wee A class will be thinner this weekend. Looks like both quads got dirt in the gas.
