1  General / Tech Corner / Re: What quad to buy? on: March 27, 2010, 01:32:49 PM
z400 can pick one up cheap and are great bikes or raptor 700 if you looking for something as fast as your 450 they are a lil more expensive but good bikes too. I have had both a z400 and a raptor 700 with zero issues.

I want to go back out to Lake Delancy.  Do they have the 20mph speed limits there or is it just on the victory trail (I think that's the name) ?  We had a blast the last time we went...
I did'nt know there was any spped limit except in the campground. If there is we def have'nt been following it...lol
4  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Sand Dunes in or around Florida??? on: March 27, 2010, 08:11:49 AM
Hey man, i just moved to Tampa about 6 months ago from Las Vegas. I am a dune lover as well, Dumont, Glamis, Pismo, Ocatia Wells, I love them all. Unfortunately, you will be very disappointed as i have. From what i have experienced so far, there is nothing to compare the massive sand dunes and forever rollers, and wide open desert that never ends. I have not been able to get my bike out of 4 gear yet. Best bet is to trade your paddle tires and flags in for a set of MX tires and a number plate. Cry
X2 moved from Cali to Tampa 3yrs ago. Verry disapointed. Miss Glamis,Pismo,Dumont. The closest "real" dunes are in Waynonka, OK.

Lol Thanks guys!! I was able to find a couple good straights there a little bumpy but good. I was able to get to like the end of fourth gear without having to slow down for something. The striaghts I found a Croom were on trails S and T. A couple guys at Croom said that Ocala National Forest had alot of good places to open it up. Anybody been to Ocala and know if thats true?
We ride at ocala by lake delancy. Plenty of wide open trails to go fast on. Much better than whooped out croom.
