fuel air mix was at 2 1/2 turns out ran like sh*t half throttle snapping and poping

still need help please

it is hard to start and it is snapping and popping and it is a slip on

i have a 2002 400ex with a white bros. pipe k&n filter and k&n air box lid
and wanted to know how and what jett to use it came with a 168 and 170 jet
i put the 170 in but it dont seem wright and it does not help that i dont know anything about
adjusting the carb an anyone help me
