i did not nor am gonna go to UF but i live and die by Gator football. i love the sport more than anything else and my parents always were Gator fans so thats how i became a Gator fan. i want to take one class there just to say i went there. lol. dont think it works that way though. i too am glad the season is here but im kinda worried after this week. we shall see.
2  General / Open Discussion / Re: your college foot ball team on: September 07, 2010, 03:14:40 PM
they played the worst football ive ever seen and still managed to pull off a win. the whole college football weekend sucked ass really with the exception that ron zook lost. cant believe last nights game. gonna be a long season.
3  General / Open Discussion / Re: Assault Rifles on: September 04, 2010, 01:24:28 AM
I've got a mint DPMS Panther .308 that I just decided to sell today.  Two slings, two 20 round mags, case, and Nikkon optics.  1300.00.

thanks but im lookin for more of a conventional iron sight AR just for fun shooting in .223 caliber. those are bad ass guns though. good luck with the selling.
4  General / Open Discussion / Re: Assault Rifles on: September 03, 2010, 10:05:50 PM
ok, i kinda like the Sig but idk, kinda want a more conventional AR. i want one like this one: http://www.bushmaster.com/catalog_xm15_BCWA3F16SL.asp but not necessairly bushmaster. one from another company like s and w would be cool too or something but setup like that.
5  General / Open Discussion / Re: Assault Rifles on: August 30, 2010, 02:29:21 PM
i looked on SIG website and i like them but i like the 516 better than the 556. im gonna go to the gun shop to see if they have one and look at it in person.
6  General / Open Discussion / Re: Assault Rifles on: August 28, 2010, 11:55:45 PM
just target shooting and to have one. probably no scope, red dot sight or iron sights most likely. something small and tactical, that can be used for home defense. not match shooting. i do like the s&w ones. i was really loookin at them and bushmaster. seem to be most popular. then theres like olympic arms and some of the more rare ones i dont know much about. i just want something reliable and fun to shoot, durable. dont need something thats gonna shoot .010 groups at 400yds or anything crazy. or something really fancy. and no, i dont want a .22lr replica. i know they are fun to shoot but its not what im lookin for.

Howdy, I know alot of you are very knowledgeable when it comes to guns and such (well there used to be alot of you on here, been a while). Im in the market and serious bout it to get a AR-15 style rifle. I remember reading something a while back about a few brands to stay away from. Ive researched some stuff about S&W, Bushmaster, Panther, Colt, and a few others. Just wondering what your opinions and experiences are with them. I dont wanna go way overboard with the price (say under $2k preferably) but its not too much of an issue. If youd rather PM me about it thats cool too. Thanks, Brandon.
8  General / Open Discussion / Re: helmet cam... on: August 12, 2010, 09:54:23 PM
i have a regular go pro (not hd, wasnt out when i got mine). i love it. not bad quality at all and the hd one is supposed to be better. never had a problem with mine either.
9  General / Open Discussion / Re: Scope rings and bases. on: March 24, 2010, 07:09:13 PM
weatherby vanguard .30-06.
10  General / Open Discussion / Scope rings and bases. on: March 24, 2010, 05:41:17 PM
Im bout to get a new scope for my .30-06 and everyone tells me to get good rings and bases but they dont have any suggestions. What do yall think are good rings and bases? Leupold and Weaver are the only 2 I ever see.
11  General / Open Discussion / Re: Gators Squeaker on: October 25, 2009, 09:48:01 PM
Yea, I dont think that was a TD either. Im the biggest Gator fan youll ever want to meet and i dont think it should have counted. Didnt really matter though. They would still have the win. The last 2 weeks have shortened my life by a few years. Im only 19 and Im gonna have gray hair soon. I take this football sh*t way too serious.
12  General / Open Discussion / Re: BREVARD COUNTY BANNING ATV RIDING. HEARING OCT 6TH on: October 11, 2009, 08:26:37 PM
There are some dumb ass mother f'ers out there that ride ATVs. It sucks for the responsible ones that respect peoples property. Riding at night anywhere near houses especially on the street is just stupid. The future of our sport/hobby looks not too good. It sucks. I was gonna go to that meeting but I figured Id probably end up saying something stupid and making us look bad out of anger.
13  General / Open Discussion / Re: Thank God college football is here! on: September 16, 2009, 10:55:21 PM
Im glad its finally back. For awhile all you have is golf and baseball. Talk about watching grass grow.. Already some great upsets. And what can you say about my team Florida State? Go out and lose to miami first week out due to stupid mistakes and just about lose to Jacksonville State (WHO?) due to the same reason. Drive from the ten all the way to the opponets 30. Fumble. Hold them to three and out then rough the punter. Unbeliveable. We do the hard stuff then screw up the no brainer part. Anywho glad to see Florida number 1 even though im a FSU fan cause tebow is from my high school. Great season already first 2 weeks. Hope it keeps this up.

There is NASCAR.

I think Florida will prove themselves, give them time. Come January, youll know they deserved it all along.

15  General / Open Discussion / Re: best waterproof boots on: August 29, 2009, 12:35:54 AM
dude, chest waders. the best invention in the world. they can be a tad warm in the summer but thay are the ultimate waterproof stuff and are very comfy when its cld out (very seldom in florida though). they make breathable ones that supposed to keep you cool though. or you could just get some wading boots. most snake boots are waterproof or at least claim to be. then you have snake protection too. basspro.com has some good customer reviews on that stuff.
16  General / Open Discussion / Re: Experience with Internet/TV Providers? on: August 13, 2009, 06:55:32 PM
we have directv and have never had any problems with them. dealing with dish newtork is a pain in the ass. i love directv though. never had any billing problems or anything. they installed everything the right way and as they said they would. it goes out sometimes if theres a monsoon outside but id say 95% of the time it looks awesome and comes in great.
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: yep it's street legal on: August 09, 2009, 11:28:12 PM
thats pretty sweet but you will have to find the right person that wants one like that. not many people looking for a dual sport want a full mx bike. the higher compression ratio, the suspension, and a lot of stuff play into it. its not a good bike to ride on the street necessarily. i wouldnt mind one but thats me. i think a street legal CRF450R would be kick ass. i wouldnt use it as a commuter bike though. but if you can find someone that wants a bike like that for the street youll get some money for it. the economy might affect it some but i still think youll do good if you decide to sell it. put it on craigslist for a ridiculous amount of money and see what happens. that would be a bad ass super moto bike.
18  General / Open Discussion / Re: X-Games 15? on: August 04, 2009, 07:52:30 PM
The whole thing is only 3 days. Just add a 4th day for more events.

Its actually 4, but a 5th day would be nice

hell yea. it should be all week i think.
19  General / Open Discussion / Re: X-Games 15? on: August 03, 2009, 05:53:41 PM
That makes some sense. They should at least have the 4x4 obstacle racing for starters.
I could see that happening.

idk if that will ever happen. its not as much of an action sport as freestyle mx and supercross is. i guess rally cars arent that much of an action sport either but it seems like the 4x4 quad stuff is more of a redneck thing. not a so cal type of stuff. they have baja and stuff like that over there so maybe the rally is tied in with that. and the fact that travis does it. that probably had alot to do with it. travis has more pull when it comes to decisions about the x games than anyone. he is like the face of the x games. if they lost him they would lose alot. it would be cool to see atvs but i jut dont see it happening. i hope im wrong though.
20  General / Open Discussion / Re: Leatt Brace questions. on: July 14, 2009, 06:16:48 PM
thanks man. i think ill get the club one then. id hate to get something that cost that much and it not fit just right.
21  General / Open Discussion / Leatt Brace questions. on: July 13, 2009, 08:04:37 PM
Hi, Ive got a few questions bout the Leatt Braces. Basically I wrecked my CR250 yesterday and got some severe whiplash and such. My neck was severely extended one way and it hurts like hell to move today. I high sided my bike (dont ask me how i did that on a dirt bike) and landed on my shoulder then my head hit the ground and my body rolled over stretching my neck out really bad. Im gonna need a new helmet and I want a neck brace now. So, question is, whats the difference between the adventure and the club braces? I cant seem to distinguish them. Is it adjustment? Just the material? I am gonna order one here this week but dont know which one to get. Thanks for any help.
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: TITLES !! ARE F-ING STUPID on: June 28, 2009, 09:40:06 PM
I think titles on OHVs are absolutely pointless. I dont even care if my bikes have titles. Hell, until 2002 or 2003 they didnt so why freaking start? Nobody even really seems to care anymore. Its not like they will help you find your bike. thieves can get a $200 frame and put a engine and everything else from a $3,000 bike and then sell the frame they had for 200 without a title and theyve completely got around it. Or, they can scratch the VIN off. I dont see how they help the recovery of bikes. Most riding areas do not have people checking VINs. I personally dont know if anybody does. I have never ridden on Gov. property. Tracks, RR, SE, etc dont give a rats ass. I too have never been stopped and asked to show my VIN on my bike to a cop. They probably dont care either. I can see the need for on road vehicles but not for OHVs. Thats my $.02.
