The pizza isn't bad at the store, we've had it a few times.

You can walk out from the salt springs corral across the road to a set of shops and a restaurant. Basically a place you can get a bite after a ride.

Hunting season. Lots of dumbasses in trucks were driving on the ATV trail segments
4  General / Product and Services Reviews / Re: Motosport.com VERY POOR CUSTOMER Service on: December 10, 2011, 06:26:29 PM
I've always had a good experience with motosport. They once shipped me the wrong skid but it happened to fit one of my other ATVs and they told me to keep it and refunded it. I later ordered the right skid and it came pretty quick. They were also pretty courteous whenever I asked questions about products and shipping.
5  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Orlando Area on: December 10, 2011, 06:34:50 AM
I live in Orlando as well and usually go to ONF's wandering wiregrass trail, it's a little over an hour north near Altoona FL and very sport quad friendly (I have a Raptor and a YFZ). There's also Delancey about 45 minutes further than wiregrass but it's a lot bigger and more variety. I don't usually get on this forum so if you'd like to meet up for a ride sometime shoot me a PM on here

I ride with Speedquest a lot up there, he's definitely the man to follow. I always get so damn lost haha...next time we plan a ride we'll probably post up here. We have mostly sport ATVs so usually  ride at a medium-fast pace but utes are definitely welcome to come along I bet.

Any more location details? is it a "no trespassing" site?
8  General / Where to Ride? / Re: ONF on: July 31, 2011, 10:07:23 PM
I like ONF the most so far and I'm in Orlando as well
9  General / Open Discussion / Re: i'm new to atving on: July 01, 2011, 05:38:04 PM
if you're in orlando you should check out some of ocala's riding areas...wandering wiregrass off 19 and 445 in altoona might be easier on your quad.

I am in orlando as well and go every couple of weeks...

If you find a big axle nut and a few aluminum spacers at the northeast end of the trails, let me know...I lost some off the axle of my ATV last time I rode there
11  General / Open Discussion / Re: Wanna run the 300' sand drag on: August 04, 2010, 05:14:44 PM
I've tried this track out, wasn't too bad at all but definitely will require some more setup on the quads...I ran it on my dirt tires and I spun too much to get traction.
12  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Official Dirty Foot Mud Ranch Thread on: August 01, 2010, 03:00:43 PM
Yeah I had the black dual pipes, black plastics.

I probably won't be back out there til next month, I have to deal with a few issues on my quad before I head out there again, and probably gonna ride at Ocala and Croom first.
13  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Official Dirty Foot Mud Ranch Thread on: August 01, 2010, 08:35:53 AM
I rode here yesterday and had a great time. The trails in the back were very smooth and for the most part not under water...There were some wetlands (not supposed to ride on them) I ran into and also did have to go in some puddles to pass through, but overall I liked it, very nice for cruising without hitting a million whoops like at Croom.

For those that might've saw me, I was on the black/red sport quad (Raptor) and I played on the drag strip a bit too. First time I ever drag raced and it was really fun

So how much is the ride per person/atv?
15  General / Open Discussion / Re: Raining at River Ranch ? ? ? on: May 19, 2009, 02:34:00 PM
Probably, it's been raining quite a bit up here for the last couple days, has hardly let up all day...I'm in Orlando though.
16  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: 2009 SouthEast Raptor Rally November 6th-8th at Florida MotoPlex!!! on: May 19, 2009, 09:58:42 AM
Quite a few...Last time I went up to Ocala, I saw a few Raptors on the turnpike...One actually saw me (kinda hard to miss the big gray truck with a red/white raptor on back) and gave me the thumbs-up haha...Course I had epass and he didn't so lost track after that.

Good to see Fred may be there...Haven't seen him since my first ride at ONF and he had one nice 700r...
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: Best way to stand up the atv in a truck bed on: April 17, 2009, 11:06:13 PM
Well that's a hell of a setup haha...I'd hate to try that with my short bed. I just go out and find a bigger trailer when I run outta room.
18  General / Open Discussion / Re: Best way to stand up the atv in a truck bed on: April 16, 2009, 07:50:11 PM
No, as long as you're not going cross country they should be fine...I say should as I'm not sure how the oil system is set up on that particular quad but I've known people to stand up banshees and warriors for extra space on their trailers and they seemed fine. I've had my Raptor on its tail for 45 minute-1 hour stretches while cleaning the underside, and it still runs good, lost no oil.
19  General / Open Discussion / Re: Glamis bound - anyone else? on: February 06, 2009, 04:04:35 PM
I would like to go someday, but probably not able to this year...Gonna be trying to get a house right about those times.
