1  General / Open Discussion / Re: Ultimate fighter HEAVY WEIGHTS starts tonight on: September 19, 2009, 12:24:40 PM
When the people who my hard earned tax dollars go to support start acting like human beings and stop blaming everyone else for their own stupidity and laziness....sure, we can all get along.

2  General / Open Discussion / Re: What's better for your health? Beer or Diet Soda? on: July 23, 2009, 12:09:56 PM
I pick beer, and wine even though it's not listed.
I usually just drink water, very rarely will I drink diet soda... If I want something different I'll drink sparkling water.

Also, Benjamin Franklin was not an Atheist he was a Christian. He was not as religious as most people were in his day, but most of his quotes have to do with God. He also wrote a pargraph in his autobiography thanking God for his happiness and success. Just wanted to throw that out there.  Smiley
3  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Redneck Country Club, L-Cross, Bamboo, 5A, etc... S. Florida riding on: July 22, 2009, 01:39:05 PM
RYC has a few trails, not a lot. L-Cross is basically just open land.  Bamboo wasn't that great, I probably won't go back to that one, I don't care too much for dead cows in the canals. I've never been to 5a.
4  General / Open Discussion / Re: Redneck Yacht Club Still Open for Memorial Weekend on: May 25, 2009, 12:31:01 PM
ahaha you mighta had someones top on but I'm sure you coulda got bottoms from the nakie chick on the buggy.  I either missed the memo RYC sent out sayin they were turnin into a nudist colony or she just wanted to show off that birthday suit!
I had fun! Hopefully, they don't flood they'll get to have a few summer events That land floods bad, Mr. Kelly told us that during the summer that whole place is under water. And this summer is suppose to be a rainy one.

About the lines... they tried. They're still fairly new and this was, so far, the biggest event they have had. So cut em some slack. Mr. Kelly's obviously a smart man I'm sure their gonna figure something out eventually. Especially, because 74 is used a lot by semi's and dump trucks.

We were out there all day Saturday. We left at 8, the wires to the fuse box on my boyfriends brute are messed up and he kept blowing fuses. We only live 25 minutes away and were gonna go back Sunday and just bring my bike. But my bearings are shot  Sad

Had a blast Saturday though! There were like three times as many people there as usual though... it was great! It didn't even rain that much.

lulu there prob be alot of people with radios and stuff   look for me ill be only bike with no plasctics on it

Ahaha plastic-less bike gotcha. Oh you'll know this one. I'm not talkin regular radio, it's a custom-built fiberglass audio box and it's obnoxiously loud. He used to have an audio pipe, but I guess 2 speakers wasn't enough he had to have 4.
7  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Best place in FL? on: May 21, 2009, 12:13:08 PM
The Ocala National Forest is VERY strict. We got info sent to us from the park rangers and there is hardly any room for error on the trails. You go off the trail you get fined even if it is accidental. I've seen more bad stories than good about that place.

Motoplex is good. You could also look into Bunnel. Creek Bottom is in Georgia haven't been yet, but I hear it's really good. It's on my to ride list.

It's been raining like crazy here and I was in Punta Gorda yesterday and it was raining. So there should be a lot of water and mud. Shouldn't be too bad Saturday though it might rain a little in the afternoon. I've been there a few times an haven't had any problems. The owner came and asked my dad about his buggy last time we were there, he was a really nice person.

Any one goin out there feel free to come over and say hi.... I'll be on a red honda Foreman center snork and exhaust snork. You def won't miss my boyfriends bike. BIG Black Brute 750 snorks and exhaust snork, 2" lift with 30 zillas. You'll hear us before you see us though he just got a bada$$ stereo on it. He wants to go def fast I guess.

My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family, friends and especially his parents. He's in better place now, where he will feel no more pain.
11  General / Open Discussion / Re: ATV Riders Shot, boy killed. on: May 13, 2009, 10:39:53 AM
I have read several articles about this. A few of them have discrepancies as to whether they were on atv's or in cars. However, they all say that the people stopped to use the bathroom and they were NOT on private property. If those people were close enough to get a head shot on two people, they should have been able to tell the people were not trespassing. They should also have noticed one was a 7 yr old.

This is same thing happened to us only no one was killed, we did have a 6 yr old with us though. Some meth head decided he had the right to shoot at people riding on the property by his house. We had permission from the property owner to ride on that property. Karma got him and he died in a car crash a week later.

14  General / Where to Ride? / Re: where to ride in southwest florida on: April 06, 2009, 08:34:25 PM

I know there is at least one person out there that cares. He made a big stink and had the local authorities out writing warnings, tickets, and they even made a couple of arrest. It was in all the local media.

It's just like everywhere else, there are a few bad apples that ruin it for everyone...

True story.. the cops were just patrolling the roads making sure no one sped or left drunk. But I guess that didn't please the stick in the mud enough soo they banned riding all together... people can be mean  Sad
15  General / Where to Ride? / Re: New Mud hole in Punta Gorda!!! on: February 23, 2009, 01:43:45 PM
It's not just an ATV park. It's an OFF ROAD PARK. They have part of the park that is fenced off specifically for ATV's the entrance to it is just wide enough for a UTV. And there's talk about building another one. Croom is not a mud hole. They weren't too strict on the riding after dark rule.
16  General / Where to Ride? / Re: New Mud hole in Punta Gorda!!! on: February 22, 2009, 07:18:27 PM
It has trails... a lot of trails. And it's like Cook & Brown on steroids, considering it's 800 acres and growing. If you went there you would understand why it cost $30. That is the nicest mudhole I have been to.

We didn't go  Sad we were snorkeling my b/f's nieces bike and getting ready for the Super Bowl (YAY STEELERS!!), but a few of our friends went. They said that it was huge and really nice. They said that the people who built the place out did themselves and you could see why it was $30. It's only about 20 min from where I live so I'm goin to go to their next event.
