Good Morning Gentlemen Ward Jones here. Just got back from my normal work travels which takes me across the country. Not a great thing to see in all the negative comments and personal attacks in this thread. I would like to think that we are all generally great people that just want to have a good place to race whether it be TT or flat track. If it has a motor and wheels and it is what you like to do then that is all that matters. I would also like to think that none of us are liars or bigger men than others. That it is just misunderstandings, misinterpretations of what may have been sutle comments to start that got out of hand. Whether one type of race bike is harder to ride or has faster lap times is not the measure of a man. I ride a 750 twin and by cc displacement is one of the largest motorcycles on the track and am guessing larger than most quads. This also does not make me more of a man than anyone else. What does make men of us is if we can put our differences and emotions aside and go forward in such a manner with compromises to help Bill promote our flat track events and TT events. As I sit here writing this looking around my office. I see a total of 4 trophies that have steering wheels. Receiving these instead of a motorcycle trophy to me was not that big of a deal. I consider myself blessed to have a place to race and am/ greatful for whatever the track has to offer. My joy comes from being on the track racing in close competition whether I win lose. The mistake in the quad points was brought to my attention as indicated. Please keep in mind that when I go out of town for a week and come back. I have over 100 e mails to go thru and yes that e mail ended up way down on my e mails and missed. Sometimes I may have to be reminded more than once. We are always willing to correct errors when pointed out to us. Please e mail me the correct finish order for all riders and it will be corrected. Mispellings on my e mails or on trophies are also honest human errors that are correctable.
We have said many times in our riders meetings. We are racers with full time jobs, we promoting and manage our races in the best way we know. We make mistakes and try and learn from these mistakes. Some decesions may not please everyone but we hope it pleases most. The amount of work that we put into promoting, managing races is more than anyone really knows. Our primary goal is to provide a family oriented race venue for the kids which are our future.
This is the only comment I will make on this thread. I will start another thread with comments/suggestions going forward for the benefit of all. My suggestion is that you kill this thread as negative threads do not help bring promote or bring new people to TT or flat track races. It just makes us look like we are not uniform in our goal and not able to get along.
Sincerely Ward Jones SDTA Keep'n It Sideways!!

There are many stuff related things you need to select learn from here as many people enjoy indoor sports like bowling; ring skating, table tennis, billiards and snooker. Other find happiness and fun doing outdoor games like football, volleyball, hockey and track and field. Still some others have been engrossed with extreme sports and hobbies like bungee jumping, parachuting, paragliding and even motorcycling. But whether you use your bicycle as a hobby or as a competitive sport, it is always best to know what you need for your motor. Motorcycles accessories, gears, apparel and components should be well studied before you go to your nearest motorcycle center or before you access an online motorcycle center site on the internet. We all have to be intelligent enough as to find the best product, engine and component that would suit your needs and wants. If it is for just a hobby, requirements can be minimal, but if it is intended for sports, everything should be scrutinized. Another big factor to consider is your motorcycle tires which at all times should be dependable as the tires are your prime contact to the ground. In this case, we always have to make sure that you car wont slip just like that and will be moving while anchored on the road for your safety. There are tires which are designed specifically for tracking or for races, while there are those which are just for daily, normal drives and rides. The part that eliminates the reaction gases from your motors engine which is the motorcycle exhausts should be examined so as to avoid having too much noise or sound and making it very reliable. There are now places where too much noise of the exhausts are prohibited or limited to a minimum and tolerable level. So we better make sure that our exhausts are working just as needed. Black smoke should also be reduced so as to more environment friendly. So whatever kind of motorcycle you need, you just have to smart at all times. HUH?

I wasn't refering to your group because you missed a few races. being so close to dec 25th and geting colder out,it usualy thins out the attendance this time of year anyway, problem is there isn't much to get thinned out !! I believe Vance ,will be there,I will try and contact him and Scully. Ramond has another quad in progress but wont be racing until next season, hopefullly Dave will have his together also.
I spoke to Mr Ware today and unfortunately he has an important work function that was rescheduled from this past weekend to this coming weekend. WJ
