Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the gates are being locked at sunset? I plan on making the drive up from Broward and was wondering when or if they close the gates. I have been there before and they were open after sunset but the last time I was there they were closed. Any info appreciated. Thanks
The jeep is green. The land that starts from the Welcome to macks fish camp sign "please wear your helmet" is theres. He cant have your truck towed but he can call the FWC and police and they can if they believe you are tresspassing. Tresspassing would be the land being riden on the south side of Krome ave. FWC was there this weekend just waiting for people to come in and tell them to leave. The place is shut down. Not because of so called tresspassing but beacause of stupid riders going into the trailer park raising hell and riding up and down Krome ave. I asked the FWC what the problem was and that was his answer. I did mention the fact that i go canoeing and fishing there and I use the same trailer as I do to haul my quads. He said that the only way the vehicle can be towed is if it is proven that the owner is tresspassing. You will recieve a ticket when you get back to your truck if the police are there or FWC if you are caught on your quad.. So if you want to tell the guy in the jeep to go fly a kite chances are you will have someone waitng there for you with a ticket or maybe you will be riding your quad all the way home...
Well with one reply out of 112 views and nobody has said that they havent gotten kicked out or had any problems, I guess I will be out there this Sunday. Anyone else gonna ride Macks this weekend? Will let you know if I get kicked out again......
Went there this Saturday and was turned away by some guy in a jeep. He said he is not allowing anyone to ride there. He told everyone who pulled in there the same thing. He said if we stayed he would tow my truck and trailer. I assume the road leading to the camp might be his put is the entrance and boat ramp off of Krome ave Macks property? Been riding and parking there forawhile with never a problem. The man said atv are tearing up the dirt road leading to the camp and that we use the road but dont buy anything at the camp. He also said that some riders ran over a girl in the trailer park across the street. I havent heard anything about that and I see people in there cars and truck hauling butt down that dirt road to the fish camp. There are no signs posted saying no parking or for Macks Fish Camp only. Anybody outhere have any info.. Really stinks to lose another place to ride..Thanks
Hey, would like to know how the enforcment of the new age law is going at Croom. Are they asking for certification before entering the park for kids 16 and under? Thanks in advance..
