Have you ever taken her to Mt. Dora for a weekend. It is an old town in central Fla. and is a great place for a romantic stop. Also there is St. Augustine. That is the oldest town in America and is a great place for a 4 day stop. You could make a week out if it, if you went to both spots. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if Coal Creek/Windrock (Oliver Springs, TN) is suitable for 2WD (i.e. sport) quads?
I would not reccomend a sprt quad at windrock. It is very steep and rocky, with many a creek crossing. Some of the crossings are deepand wide. The trails coming up from the creek and steep and long. you will be happy you show up with a 4x4. Good luck!!!!!

I think it is best to stay with the stock size. Just remeber that if you change the tires and go with more agressive trad pattern they will get more grip and something else will have to give. I went with ITP ATR's on my Brute Force and they got great traction even in the mud, but I consistantly broke/bent tie rods, I believe due to the increase in grip. Many people have broken many an axle with larger more agressive tires. To do it right it is truly more than tires, your lookin at suspension and axles to be reliable.

I believe that suzuki has proven to be the most reliable. I had a vinson that I ran hard for a couple of years and it never had a problem, even after a couple of bad wrecks. Honda has also done my family really well. I have had some problems with Kawasaki recently, but they are decent. I do not like Yamaha, I had a bad one before and my friends grizzly breaks constantly. Time will tell how Bombardier does, but so far I am really impressed. My friends Polaris has proven to be tough.
1. Suzuki 2. Honda 3. Kawi 4. Polaris 5. Bombardier, I think it will move up as time goes by and I log more miles. 6. Yamaha

I have been to multiple areas out of the state and I will rank them in order for you from best to worst.
1. Wisconsin. Many thosand miles of marked and mapped trails to ride. Many areas have atv routes on the streets and allow you to ride into to town. We logged almost 1000 miles in 6 days of riding and only rode in th Chequigen national Forest area outside Park Falls. We also had a great time fishing as we rode along and across so many creeks I lost count. Can you say fresh Walleye Trailside!!!!!!1
2. Tennesee. Coal Creek mining area in Oliver Springs Tennesee. It was a great place to ride and a very inexpensive trip in comparison to others. The trails were very challenging and fun. There are lots of creek crossings on trail12. We rode about 320 mi. in 3.5 days.
3. Hatfield McCoy trails, Gilbert WV. Stayed at the Trailhouse in Gilbert. These trails we stayed on were part of the rockhouse trail system that consists of about 110 miles of trails. This was a very difficult area to ride and I had the worst wreck of my life on a black trail going down and rolled my vinson all the way down this trail on top of myself. I can away a little sore, put some bungee cords around my machine and rode for 3 more days. This place is fun and beautiful, but not for the family. There are many trail systems there and some are easier. we rode about 300 mi in 3.5 days. Most of the trails were two way with many having very tight switch backs. I have heard that the Waterways is better for the family.
4. Durhamtown Plantation. Union Pt. Ga. A fun place to go with kids. Most of the trails are one way and are fairly safe and easy. Went with my son and rode about 300 miles in 3 days. This place has tracks set up throughout the grounds if you are into that. Please do yourself a favor and take on of the guided night rides and you will not be disappointed. The guy who works there will take you off the property to all kinds of different trails you can't normally go on. we went on two and they made the trip a very memorable experience. This is a pretty expensive trip compared to all ther others I have been on.
Next Two on the list is Tug Hill N.Y. and Piute in Utah.

I hope I will be retired and traveling all over the USA with my beuatiful wife in an RV with a 2026 Bombardier 2000cc 4x4 2 seater inside and a 2026 Dodge pick up in tow. I pray that I will be in good health so I can enjoy the golden years with her, and see my 2 boys grow up and be a positive influence in thier families and other peoples lives. If the world ends or I die, I will be with god and those that have past before I, riding quads that never need gas or repairs in an awesome place called heaven. Eternity is a long time and life here is very short, make the this time count for eternity!!!!!!

I was fifteen years old, living in Bucks County Pa. I was at school in Klinger Middle School in the ninth grade. I remember the announcement to turn on all tv's in the classrooms. We just sat there in silence and couldn't believe what had happened. God Bless all those on the shuttle and thier families. i was riding a 1987 Suzuki Quad Sport 230 cc with reverse. It was blue and white and I bought the first one to arrive at bromleys, it was an early release in 1986.I rode that quad for many years and it never let me down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I also had a 1964 chevy 2 nova hard top I was working on so it would be ready when I got my license in May. I paid 500.00 for the car and 2400.00 for the 230. I had my priorities straight even back then.

I recently sold my Brute Force, for a Bomb 800 xt. I went through 3 tie rods in a year before that. They are a very inexpensive part, but when they bend or brake it sure is a long ride back to camp. I told my dealer that I thought there was a problem with these and they kept insisting that I was hitting things, but they fixed it anyway. good luck to all brute force owners in getting a good part so this is not a problem for you!

Both machines are great. I have a bomb and I love it so far, seems to run better everytime I ride it. I really like the rotax engine, onboard brakes, spar frame and trailing arm rear suspension. The 2 seater outlander Max is also a convertable machine that has a small bed that attaches whenyou are one up. Good luck with you decision.

I would reccomend a Suzuki lt 160. It is a very small atv that has a set screw for you to control the throttle position. My son got this when he was 7 and did so well we upgraded him after 2 years to a z 250 and he is now and excellent rider. Good luck. Oh by the way, that 160 was a great machine that never let me down.

All you noles fans better enjoy your party now, because I just learned that they will be playing my Penn State Nittany Lions at the Orange Bowl in January. I feel as though Penn could play with USC or Texas, but they will put a hurtin' on those noles. Good luck your gonna need it.

Iwould love to read the article that says it is going to be closed. I just spent the better part of an hour looking on that site and never saw anytrhing about a closure. I did find alot of info on Tate's Hell, hope this is just another piece of negative info because 150 + miles sounds great.

I just bought one last week. I wen't riding this weekend and did about 40 miles and had no problems. I love the 3 year warranty it came with, and don't miss my brute force and it's tie rod woes at all. The bomb is definately faster and better handling. The fuel injection gives great throttle response. The motor on the thing is truly a monster. That thing can really wind up. I bought the camo xt model and it actuaullyis a 3d picture of a woods scene. Ihope it is as good as it appears to be. Wish me luck!!!!!!1
