1  General / Open Discussion / Facebook......... on: February 04, 2016, 07:47:18 PM
Gun enthusiasts, yesterday the FB PC police shut down the gun selling/trading pages that were allowing people a place to offer guns for LEGAL sale to other law abiding citizens. I had one of those pages. I have since opened up my own website where people can do LEGAL sales or purchases of guns, ammunition and accessories.
It's called Central Florida Gun Trader Forum. It's quite extensive and many categories from general discussion, ask a gunsmith, gun sales events, NFA items, reloading, range talk, hunting, firearm accessories, a place to sell items other than firearm related.....many many more! Come join us!

It IS the end increased BCSO and VCSO are coming soon. If YOU can't prove YOU have any ownership and or permission from Miami Corp.........your knowingly trespassing.
3  General / Open Discussion / Re: 5a parking lot on: August 19, 2015, 06:11:26 AM
It's NO rumor, my sources at BCSO say trespassing citations will be starting soon, before you see any of the signs or fences are in place. Arrested, will start after the signs and fences are in place. Everyone should know by now YOU ARE TRESPASSING at 5A. BCSO and VCSO will be coordinating enforcement at both ends of 5A.

5  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Thanks, you've RUINED 5A! on: August 18, 2015, 04:24:24 PM
I've come to the realization that I'm happy about this. I have been riding out there since I was 12 years old, I'm now 47. When it was locals only, before the internet it was a great place to ride. We kept it clean and respected the hunters, so we didn't ride there during hunting season. 5A has gotten to a point I won't ride out there anymore because of the trash that's out there and I don't just mean garbage left out there. Far too many drunks and idiots flying around corners without looking. The last time I was out there was a weekday a year ago, I was appalled at how it looked. So, even though I also lose a place to ride I do look forward to everyone else leaving as well and the eyesore being developed and cleaned up. With any luck some of you will contribute to Brevard County by paying trespassing fines.

Development isn't expected to start until 2017. However, talking with BCSO, expect them sooner than any signs or fences. Signs do not have to be in place for you to be trespassing. If you can't prove your a landowner, your trespassing. The County commission wants this land developed and will cooperate with the Miami Corp getting the "liability" off of the property. Volusia county is also on board with supporting the Miami Corp as well.
7  General / Where to Ride? / Re: 5A Newbie Questions on: August 17, 2015, 08:07:45 PM
No, it's NOT legal to ride at 5A. If you choose to ride there it IS TRESPASSING. From the looks of things "read the link below", fences will be going up and law enforcement will be handing out trespassing citations.

8  General / Where to Ride? / Thanks, you've RUINED 5A! on: August 17, 2015, 07:16:33 PM
Much appreciated, now 5A is lost to all of us. Enjoy it while you still can. As a local I appreciate all the trash you've left out there over the years, harassment of wildlife and destroying a riding area in general. Prepare for fences and increased law enforcement handing out trespassing citations....all coming soon to 5A!

First and foremost I grew up in that area and it was used for HUNTING first before any ATV was made. I ride out at 5A but I have the good sense to NOT ride there during hunting season. Also, be careful accidental discharge of firearms have been known to happen at 5A.

So, you apply for the permit at Wal-Mart?

That wasn't even close to enough rain yet.    Cry
13  General / Open Discussion / Re: Richard Petty Experience on: May 19, 2008, 08:47:48 PM
I did it four times at Daytona........was worth every red cent I paid. It was free all four times.    Grin     I'd pay for it at Daytona if I had to but they don't do it there any more.

I just looked at there website and it says that daytona is one of the tracks

I work for NASCAR at Daytona part time as a Firefighter and the last I saw they don't do rides there anymore.

15  General / Open Discussion / Re: Tires on: May 16, 2008, 06:04:58 PM
Stick with 27" tires. I have the HEAVY Maxxis Mudzillas on my Rhino. They fit nice, added some top end without hurting the low end too much. In fact I'm looking to sell the Zillas for $250 being that I don't do much mud anymore and they look like new. They are 27x12x12 rear and 27x9x12 front.

Don't feel to bad but I've seen MUCH worse in 1998 in the Mims/Scottsmoore area. I still see alot of green in your pictures. I'm sure it was bad as well as scary for you but its not the worst brush fire I've had to fight and I went to Palm Bay this week.
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: Fires in palm bay no help on: May 15, 2008, 10:55:05 AM
Regardless, Departments are looking at budget cuts, not buying much NEEDED new equipment and laying off Firefighters and Officers.
18  General / Open Discussion / Re: Fires in palm bay no help on: May 15, 2008, 10:12:39 AM
In 2009 the budget cuts take effect for Fire and Police because of the "yes" vote to cut your property taxes. So, next year during brush fire season when you see fewer firefighters, more of our trucks breaking down and wonder why can't "they" get control of these fires..........remember how you voted when you start pointing fingers......you may need to point it at yourself. Let me know if it was really worth it.
19  General / Open Discussion / Re: the fires. on: May 12, 2008, 04:39:23 PM
i probably saw it. i saw a few. they dont let you drive the duce and a half?

Oh I can drive it and I do sometimes, BUT given the choice I'm taking a truck I can get out of the smoke every once and awhile and cool off in some A/C.   Grin
20  General / Open Discussion / Re: the fires. on: May 12, 2008, 11:04:38 AM
They are just keeping a eye on it trying to keep it from crossing the firelines. If you saw the City of Cocoa ladder truck yesterday......that was me.
21  General / Open Discussion / Re: the fires. on: May 12, 2008, 09:44:59 AM
We're all happy to do our job........BTW a "shout out" to Publix on SR54. My crew needed ice and we went there and asked the Manager for a small donation and he hooked us up with some.
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: the fires. on: May 11, 2008, 11:44:26 PM
Yep, affected me.......been out there since 3:00PM fighting the fires, its 11:42 and I just was relieved and able to go back to my station and run calls there "that are NOT brush fires". Its just that time of the season. I was at Cox Road then moved to SR 524. Its slowing down now. If you see smoke, we don't put out smoke and its going to smoke for a week or more NOT a 911 call. If you see fire IN the burn area "where its already been burned" don't call 911, we're just going to let it burn and it won't hurt anything. Now, if you see fire burning in the GREEN stuff call 911.
23  General / Where to Ride? / Re: UTV(RZR) registration in Florida on: April 29, 2008, 03:56:03 PM
Why wouldn't you title it and get the sticker?

Maybe bought it out of state and didn't pay TAX?  LOL
24  General / Where to Ride? / Re: 5a on: April 18, 2008, 07:34:52 PM
Paying $10 each is a great idea, however if that was ever to happen then the land owners have to assume liability and they have to get insurance, lawyers, fence the area and add gates to areas and ect. This has been considered many, many times and they have no interest due to time and cost. They have showed a interest in selling it for development once the subdivision east of it starts or if any other land in the area sells for development. The Miami Track hunting lease on the west side of 5A I'm sure will stay intact.
25  General / Where to Ride? / Re: 5a on: April 17, 2008, 06:25:47 PM
Go ride and have fun at 5A.   Grin  Let me know how it all works out. I also believe this forum is supposed to be about LEGAL RIDING areas and 5A is not......its PRIVATE PROPERTY. You my friend are the one breaking the law by riding in that area, take your chances again.....let me know how it all works out for you.....enjoy!
