Merritt took 1st for the quad and 2nd for the Motorcycle -
The two kids battled it out all week - They were awesome!

I had an absolute blast friday night!  The track was awesome and the weather was GREAT! Thanks guys for all your hard work!

What is Pro/Am? For us dummies - newbies? Do they have a website with the rules or any more info?

I don't know if I'll ever beat the vintage but I know that if Jeff ever gets out there -- Thats a race I will want to record!

We just wanted to thank EVERYONE for a great season.
Brady many kudos to you and those at the track for keeping it up and running even when the turnout wasn't great.  For all you behind the scenes people! Thanks to the picture guys too!  You guys get some of our best and worst moments on film!
We'll do our best to spread the word and DRAG people in!  Hopefully some will get hooked and start running with us all!

We are still looking for more kids to run at Thunderbowl Speedway in Ocala, FL-
Last couple of races we had a great turn out of kids.  They put on quite a show!! Both TT race and Flat Track.  New race schedule and entry fees will be posted on our website --

Bring the kids -- The paddy wagon (lunch truck) has excellent food that is reasonably priced and Brady and the crew really take care of the track. 
Come out and support Flat-tracking and TT Racing at it's best.

We are still looking for lady racers in the M/C flat track --
The new season will be starting and I would really like to have LOTS of women out there! Maybe we could show them boys a thing or too!
Come on out - If you just want to try we always have an extra motorcycle and gear!!!

Looking forward to 2009 (it's not that far away!)

As for Targeting locals in Ocala - Jeff and I do our best to spread the word.  We try to put up flyers and pass out cards and post cards.  I had some made up last year and with the new seasons coming up I will again try to get postcards made up so people have something to take home and put on their fridge.  I think that is our biggest downfall -- People hear about us from someone but they don't have anything to take home with them to remind them that racing is going on.  We have put flyers up at the Yamaha shop, the Honda Shop and even hung some at gas stations.  Some of us are trying but again We need to get the word to the high schools - and maybe the colleges? UF and CFCC? Although I know most of these kids are going to school - Some of them might have quads or bikes at the house or even at mom and dad's.  They might want to come out for a night of racing and get hooked!  I know I am -- Also guys how do we get women coming out on bikes?  I am sure all of us lady riders would love to have some more competition! 
I like the 2 practice, 2 heat and 1 feature --
Merritt gets a little tired when both TT and Flat -Track are ran but shes a trooper.
