That's funny since I've been approached several times throughout the years by 2 guys in a van trying to sell me liquid cooled speakers here in PA. The were supposed to pick up 6 speakers and accidently got 6 pair and they need to sale them asap.

I've sold a few of these quads and think they are just fine for what I sell them for. Every customer is warned of all of the issues and reminded they are not for everyone. My 4-year old son has one and it is a great learning ATV. The complaints the CPSC has (with the Meerkat-50) I disagree with. With supervision there is no problem if the rider is competent enough to understand the dangers and how to avoid them and how to operate the safety controls. I personally think they do not turn sharp enough at all. He did have some issues when riding his friend's Eton-50 though (it felt unstable when I rode it also).
IMO these quads are just OK, they are nice for teaching kids how to operate the throttle and brakes after they outgrow a power wheels. I personally do not sell anything bigger than the 90cc as I feel that if someone is advanced enough to ride a bigger ATV the Chinese brands are NOT the way to go. For $500+ my son can learn some responsibility, have some fun and hopefully have a interest in something that could keep him out of trouble in the future. He never rides w/o me close by and it is on mostly flat gound as well as up and down a few jumps at our shop. You can easily control it by only allowing enough power (via the throttle stop) as the rider can physically and mentally handle. He only rides in 1st gear and it is plenty fast for him, he also knows that he does not touch the throttle when pushing the starter button. Before he rides he gets a refresher coarse on where the brakes are, where the shut off/engine kill is and gives a return demo. You can't just let a kid on one and let them go.
Everyone will have their own opinion, but this ATV works for our situation and my son's skill level. When he advances, he will have a Polaris, Can-Am, or one of the Japanese models.
He wears a helmet, goggles, gloves, boots and a chest protector!

A bunch of guys from our shop are leaving PA on the 23rd to ride @ Big Scrub for a few days. Stop by and say Hi if you are riding there also. Look for some Instigator Racing decals on the trucks or graphics kits on the ATV's. I won't be able to make it
