Yeah, I think i'm gonna do some locals in Sr. WOW that sounds old! My youngest is training on an EX and he's looking to be even faster than LIL Jon. My bike is done and i've been practicing the last couple of weekends. It's coming back to me quickly, the guys I ride with are fast and i'm having no trouble keeping up!(they are on 450's) So we'll see what my out dated, obsolete POS 400EX can do against these unbeatable 450's.

Nice!!!!!!!!!!! Almost makes me want to turn mine loose on the strip. Nice bike, looks fast. I never would have guessed it would hammer those crotch rockets like that. I know its hard to shoot videos on the spot like that but what were the gliches all about? Kinda dissappointing, like when the cable goes out for a second right at the good part. LOL I love to see EX's winning at anything. I'll never ride anything else.

nice woods quad, dont forget, that in the woods it isnt always about who got the baddest motor, you actually have to have some skill too

You know how hard it is to get a trophy in FTR! I have a few. I'm a little rusty but i'm finding that the rust falls off quick. I've never done any other racing besides woods on atvs or dirt bikes. I know too much motor and not enough skill can be a bad combination.As well as too much motor not enough suspension. I would really like to see if these guys would try the woods.

 Polished 450 swing arm, short one 05'. 450 linkage and rear shock. Got alot you can't see, and i'm making some carbon fiber parts for it. Thanks, now throw those wheels and tires on and lets huck em' through the woods at mach 1 for the true test! LOL

there is a big difference between racing a 400ex in hare scrambles against bigger quads as opposed to a flat out 1/8 mile drag race, as a matter of fact i have been beaten by 400ex's in hs.... but if you read these goons post and their lack of drag racing knowledge, it is comical, but i dont think your son is talking crap about how his 400 ex will eat any 450 out there, and also i was not offended by any 450 post, actually my quad is a 432cc stock quad,

I hear ya. I just had to stick up for my 440. And no neither of my sons or myself would ever talk bs unless provoked. Then we let the trophies speak for us. You've had that Cannondale a long time now have'nt you? I think I remember that bike from when I raced dirt bikes in FTR.

Just because someone makes a statement about a bike and you disagree, it's no reason to bash said bike. I own a 440 and i'll take it over a 450 any day! My son smoked a majority of 450s he ran against in the SSQSA and FTR hare scrambles on a stock 400. I understand you were offended by an anti 450 post, still no reason to bash.

Holy cow!!!! Did'nt this all start from a vid of a 400 beating a 450? I think you all should put em on the trails where they were intended. I got a 440EX with a bunch of aftermarket stuff that i'll put up against whatever in the woods (the exception being Borich,Kiser, Mcgill's bikes) The straight line stuff is mostly bike, where woods racing is alot more about the combination of the bike and rider. Anyone with deep pockets can build or have built a 120+mph bike. Build one to go through the woods fast ,where turning and various other tasks come into play if you want to go this overboard with the challenges and gauntlets being thrown down! Build a bike that is an all round performer, then run mouths.Or better yet come to an FTR hare scramble and lets see what you got. I know most of you posting on here. Most of you know me from the SSQSA or FTR. I will be there this season. I'm curious to see how badass some of you really are!

I have'nt been a member of this site for long. I wish I would have found it sooner! I feel that your site provides a place for dirt riders to go and enjoy a variety of options having to do with the sport. This site also has a big hand in growing the sport. It would be a shame to see anything happen to it!
