Thats cool. I ride a bike now (when i get to ride) and lets just say that do a lot of dirt samples in a day of riding so the softer the dirt the less i hurt

I hate to say it Brett but it looks like the sport has died for quads. Even the Nationals and the GNCC are way down. I hope you get a good turn out.
Our entire old crew have either switched to Dirt bikes or left the sport. I still have my quad but thats only because of the memories.

You are not the 1st and you wont be the last. Hard Rock has had many many many of these situations happen. They are the worst owners in the business, even worse than L-Cross. It is a shame because Hard Rock was once one of my favorite tracks.

My crew will be out. With nothing solid for us to plan for it looks like 4 of us are gonna carpool to durhamtown. Bikes are so much cheaper, if they only had lights

So when we we know if its official for the 6hr 2 man team race on the Oct. 1st? I now have a few dirt bike friends that may want to come up and race. They wanted to do the 24hr but the exspense was to much. With a 6hr race we can all ride up together and make a long day of it.

Bike guys have to buy lights which adds a min. of $300 to the race for us/them. Try to advertise a 10hr race for Oct. 1st. Thats an off weekend for the FTR, Dirty Foot is closed and the bikers wont need lights. See how much interest you can get in the next 2 weeks.

What happened?

What happened is they want to get your money so bad that they will say anything to get you there. Now they will suffer the consequences of losing the 4 riders and 2 spectators as well as many of their friends. Just be honest and most people dont mind but lie to me and you can forget it.
The $20 to spectate is retarded no matter how you look at it!

$20 to watch? That is what is cost for the whole weekend with pit pass at Loretta Lyns ATV National 2 weeks ago!!! Thats crazy is John Natalie, Chad Wienen and all the pros gonna be there?
Bartow only charges $5 to watch and Dade City only charges $10. DC is the premier track in Florida and does have pro riders there on most nights.

No Pros, just a regular practice. & @ $20 a head just to watch, so much for bringing any family with you!

L-Cross sucks! Dont LIE and say everything is perfect when its not. And quit charging $20 for mx spectators.

Im digging the bike. I wish I would have made the switch years ago. For that matter, I wish I would have started out on a bike. Dont get confused I still have my 04 450 and always will. Once I get the money to give her a good rebuild I still plan on putting her to use. This is my mid life crises

We have a Team, so what if we have all switched to dirtbikes. We still love to ride. Who else is in?

Just a thought to add to your Rules for the Race. For safety reasons Every machine should have to have a Glo Stick of some type attached to it. What happens if they stall their machine or fall down or their battery dies and another rider cant see them? That could be a bad situation. Just a thought to prevent someone from getting ran over.

My hands are healed and in rehab right now so i should be good by then. I will need to check with my partner to see if he can make it. Then just pray for work, this 1 day a week stuff is sucking me dry. I might be on welfare if this keeps up

That thing is sweet. i bet it cost as much as a 4x4 quad, $8000.00

Raptor 250 class starts and does one lap
SidexSide/Ute does one lap
Novice rider 1 does one lap
Novice rider 2 does one lap
Intermediate rider 1 does two laps
Intermediate rider 2 does two laps
Vet (35+) rider 1 does two laps
Vet (35+) rider 2 does two laps
Open Rider rider does 2 laps

Why is there 2 novice riders, 2 int. riders and 2 vet riders? Does this mean we need a 9 man team?

Dang man!  Why don't ya just tell Paul what ya really think about his events? Seemed like a pretty important race in posts before the race. 

Well if you must know, my prior posts were to help Paul stir the pot and hopefully get more interest..........where were you again?

  There is no such thing as a "meaningless" race.

Sure there is, because if it was an important race, Borich, Bithel and Rowlings would have raced instead of getting in their hauler and leaving after standing near the finish to see what the riders looked like. Ballance and Kiser would have showed up like they said they would. Instead they just laughed and smiled. If that was the GNCC race i would have kept right on going and never looked back. Meaningless Race  means that it "meant less" to me and not worth the damage.
As far as delivering the mail, lets leave that to the U S Postal service.

Sean MR. I will show Borich whats up?? He didn't even finish 1 lap. Although, I would have done the same. It is not worth messing up bearings or your motor this close to the GNCC's. Hell i didnt even race because of the conditions.

I remember the 1st endurance race and it was wet and cold too! Borich and Bithell both raced it and finished it. Where ya at Shawn? 

My pockets are not as deep as theirs and in case you didnt read  the above............they didnt race this time, Hmmmmmm, wonder why? 
 I made a calculated decission to not destroy my quad on a meaningless race with the GNCC right around the corner. I have already made a commitment to a fellow rider to help with the exspenses to 4 of the GNCC races and if i had to replace all my bearings again i would not have been able to do so.
