No it is not that white surgar sand, it is a tan color that is normaly hard when dry but if it get wet it can get pretty slick. Ask around, I think you can still park on the 5A side, which is paved.
I am selling a 04 Polaris 700 Mossy Oak addition if you are interested or know anyone who might be. I am asking 4k for it. I have posted a on hear, i think it is on page four know if you want to look at.

Yea, plus you don't want a Doge. I spend a lot of time at mechanic shops and 60% of the work is on Doge or  Chrysler cars. I have not seen to many trucks in there though. I would go with a Chevy or Ford. Ford if you want to lift it because the 250 and 350 come with straight axles in the front. Much more dependable than CV axles, that come on the quarter ton trucks.

No you can park on the road. They put up no parking signs Embarrassed
You can drive in and park. Sometimes you need four wheel drive and other times you don't. There is a place to park about a quarter mile in from the osteen side. If their is not enough room there you can continue on a little further and their is a bigger place to park. I would say you could make in two wheel drive if you only had an ATV in the back of your truck, as long as it does not rain, but if you were pulling a trailer it could get risky.

I have not parked on the 5A side in a long time, do they still let you park there?

Thats to bad. Was it a cop or a game warden? I have been driving in since they put up the no parking signs. Lots of room to park if you drive in from the Osteen side. Going to need four wheel drive though if you are pulling a trailer. Just went out there last night in my truck. Still lots of water in the lakes but the trails are drying up a little bit. Still would not recommend ridding a sport quad out there yet. I would give it two more weeks of no rain.

I have been going out to 5A for years, but the past year the crowd out there has really died down. Went out there a few weekends ago and there was only a few other people.
