AWSOME!! Me(prairie 650),Son (300ex), Bro in law (686 Griz 29 vampires) went riding on the little coal river trails.Closest trailhead to the north (Charleston) Terry was very helpful, since we were driving 3 hrs down, riding there 3 hrs home , same day, he said spend the time on the bike not getting to a bigger trailhead, with less time to ride. We rode 38+ miles in 4+ hrs. Drove up on 5 deer, OWL, 2 skunk. tons turkeys, squirrels,AND ONLY 6 PEOPLE> I LIKE THAT!! FLA BOY CONVERSION CHART FOR TRAILS Green (easiest)= easy to moderate inclines, slopes, width of trail Blue (more difficult)= moderate to challenging areas to get-r-done Black (difficult)= Black diamond (yes you and your quad will get to the bottom of the mountain one way or another) Fla boy you better look, you cant back up on a 80% slope, your committed.
Rode all the trails except for 3. All the black except for two,#72 and #83 (was closed). Did i mention there is boulders in WV. These trails were not Quad passable, 2 wheeler Yes. No one checked my son, signed a permit that explained the 90 (BS) rule. He has a restricted license to drive a car is 120 lbs, 5'8" and going to ride a 90 (BS). There is no way it would of done it.
Trails were awesome Full range of everything, hillclimb, rock, cross angle, slope, mud, slippery, boulders, trees, roots, I will go back.Family has 300 aceres in WV butt nothing like this complete trail system.
MAYBE FL will wake up and do a real trail system, Hatfield ,McCoy permote mud riding,Fun,and difficulty. Get this a cop told me you can ride down any paved road LEGALLY in WV as long there is no painted center line. Post some pics later.

"Dont do sumersaults while on your atv Tim!" That wasnt a sumersault!! That was a properly executed manuver " to see where my drain plug actually is". Only in TOP GUN have you seen someone go from inverted to 50 mph in less than 60 sec. LETS RIDE

Definitely in my familys thoughts and prayers. Have friends that live 25 miles south of new orleans in the swamp. This is badder than Andrew and that was terrible. Miami is on a limestone, coral ridge. Lousiana is on mud, swamp. In hurricane Katrina there was BIG boats 60 miles inland. A 20 to 25 ft storm surge will be devistating! Please Pray for lives spared, I pray most evacuated and went to higher ground. The levy if overtaken will also be a dam later( will hold the water in) 6 ft below sea level plus 20 ft storm surge is 26 ft of water above the ground, your two story house is underwater. Thier new building codes are strick, but whats to say about 10- 20 yr old houses. 200+ mph gusts , 175 sustained. God please be with these people, they are your people too.

Hey Hibrass, I dont think it was you guys. There was 2 banshees with dual alien ex. Both with no helment. A red 450r guy with a helmet. and a polaris trail boss. Riding is cool and riding fast is cooler. But when its state land with open hunt, I would be highly pissed if i was walking hunting small game and somebody came flying 60+ down a trail i was on. I have the same right to be there as he does, but I need to respect his sport as I want him to respect mine. Just doesnt look good, " Hunter walking on state land gets run over by atv, during a posted hunt."
Anyway have you rode on all area ,can you ride the hiking trail? Meet some familys from cocoa, on utilities, some camping from jax. my son liked the cemetery rd, and billys pond ride. Had a good time. Firebreaks get a little washboard after 20+ miles. Hope to see you guys sometime. Is there another ride somewere in holopow? Seen some pics of a group ride there? PM me please. Later, Gone

Hello Grizz, Just for Info. Nov 22 start open gun (Buck season), 2weeks long in W.Va.. I know because I go every year, and leaving on the19th to hunt this year. I would personally not recomend it. My father in law owns 227 acres in Harrrison county and we get guns pointed at us on our property, they try to hunt it. All of W.VA. shuts down for hunting season(buck) in our county, schools closed, All car dealers closed, NAPA closed for first 3 days, ect. Call the Trail House Im sure they will tell you. It is probally closed. I just want to warn you, messing up a Hillbillys hunt, no telling what he might do??? Check it out first, 321GONE FEDS CANT CATCH CRIMINALS FROM WEST VIRGINIA !!! #1= ALL THIER DNA IS FROM THE SAME STRAND! #2= THEY DONT HAVE ANY DENTAL RECORDS!!
