ITS THAT TIME AGAIN!!!

FIVE FLAGS SPEEDWAY, IN PENSACOLA, FLORIDA IS HOSTING ROUND 2 OF THE FLSUPERMOTO.COM RACING SERIES.

THE TRACK IS VERY MUCH LIKE A "MINI DAYTONA" USING THE FRONT STRAIGHT OF THE FAST 1/2 MILE OVAL AND THEN DIPPING INTO THE INFIELD.

THERE WILL BE CLASSES FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING QUADS!!!!

SO BRING YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND LETS HAVE SOME FUN!!!

TRACK ACTIVITIES ARE ALL DAY SATURDAY AND THE FEATURES WILL BE HELD UNDER THE LIGHTS SATURDAY NIGHT.

bump, ok guys, this is getting set up to be a HUGE event.
remember, this is a tune up for the BIG race in sept that will be double points.

the track owners have worked their asses off to make this a first class event so i hope to see a big quad turnout.
there is a group from mississippi/louisiana coming (team extreme) and they took the last two big races i have put on so lets let florida take home the prize for once.

i also have a large group of locals coming to race but i probably would not count on them in the money but at least the turnout will be awesome.

roughly 75% asphalt for the first race. the second event in sept will feature more.

the reason not as much as the first race is ecause there is a major car race at teh track the night before and i wont have time to prepare the dirt section in the morning.

the sept race, ill have PLENTY of time for a KICK-ASS dirt section.

ps, what happened to yamaha babe?  i met their family at a race in ocala and id like to see them show up!

seriously, not trying to be a thingy, but with the little amount of racing in the southeast, we need all the riders we can get.

the track is very wide and plenty racey for clean passes.  your son would have a blast.

its owners like brady and others that are trying to have races but are not gonna be able to keep the gates open if we dont support them.

hope to see the real racers at the races.

yea i left out a few details.

as far as safety wire, just make sure the drain plugs are secure and nothing is gonna fall off.
this is not as safety demanding as the ama but please zip ty a water bottle on the radiator catch hose in case any overheats.

you can wear your mx gear

the longest straight is similar to the loxley track.  the track is inside of the 1/2 mile oval.  we only will use the front straight.

there will be a few small dirt jumps for the first round. 
i know you guys run lowered suspension so dont worry about triples or doubles as we are not gonna try to test the strength of your frames.  hehe

the first round is gonna be small purse, probably 100% payback plus bonuses.

the second round is already scheduled for sepy 19th and it is in conjunction with pensacolabikefest.
so the second race, we will be in front of thousands of drunk biekr fans screaming at you to go faster!!!
this first race is a shake-down and whatever improvements that is needed will be made.

we have already secured the insurance and everything.
this race is 100% gonna happen!!!

i loook forward to seeing you guys again. 
there are tons of hotels 1 mile from the track or if you guys wanna do it on the cheap, i live 10 minutes away and my house can sleep plenty.  just bring a sleeping bag!  free showers.

ok guys next year is going to be bigger than this year.  we are running both days at loxley and i will give the quads a race both days.  plan now as it will be the first weekend in november instead of halloween

next thing, would you atv guys consider running an asphalt supermoto?  it would be just like a tt with small jumps.
the speeds would not be any faster then loxley.
the good thing is that it is during a HUGE bike rally in pensacola and the daate is sept 19-21 or something like that.
if i can get a class, i could and would put up a BIG purse. mybe 500 to win or more.
opinions???

laastly, brady, i got a new cell.  can you call me regarding my bike week race?  i want at least one quad class.

we have a very exciting tt track under construction as we speak.

as for the track, think BIG thunderbowl!!!

we have gotten a lot of good response from local media and are looking forward to growing flat track racing in the southeast..

ok folks i just got off the phone with a big group of pro quads from extreme racing team who is bringing a large group of riders.  they sounded serious!   

guys, i am going to open the track for free practice friday night to prepare for the races saturday and sunday.

wow, it must be COLD in michigan right now as i just recieved a call from a group of racers that are making the long haul down.  thats awesome, lets give them a big florida welcome!

sorry about the delay man.  the tt track is not complete due to rain.  the layout is complete but right now the surface is too much like a cushion and i am afraid that the tractor will get stuck.  ill be back out monday to complete the tt course.  and i WILL take pics of it.  right now i will describe it to you.
basically we start on the front straight, go thouugh turn 1 and 2 then immediately have a hard left hander into the infield over a small roller then a hard right (prob secong and third gear in the infield) then you grab a couple gears and head down the infield straight and over a larger roller then brake hard back down into second gear and then a short chute to another hard right which puts you back onto the the back straight headed into turn three then its get it on time headed back into turn one.  you guys will be very impressed.

hey guys, just a reminder that camping is allowed friday and saturday night as well as sunday if anyone wants.  i have secured a motorgrader from thompson cat rentals and will be on site the ENTIRE time for any maintance/changes that may need to happen.  dont fgorget that all the classes will race for money and not trophies.  if anyone has any information please call me at 850-637-5838.
i know its a long drive for some of you guys but i will make it worth it.  i promise you have not seen a track like this before!

sorry for the quiet time guys as i have been wrapping up my season and am proud to report 3 NATIONAL road racing title this year.  as of now, i am back in full tilt boogie mode for this event.  i am working hard with dealers in the area about sponsorships but man, they are just not about racing.  i am however, so this race will be very exciting as i have not seen quad racing in about 2 years and cannot wait.  tha panhandle is not gonna know what hit it.

well i am trying VERY hard to get more sponsorship dollas together for some of the other classes too.  to be honest, it has been difficult and i have spent more time than id like to think about on the phone.  honestly, i dont have any more yet, but i would like to get you guys some more money since i know you are travelling a good distance for my race.  hell if nothing else, it would help cover the gas costs.

ps gonna be there doing more work this weekend.

normally, depending on the size of the class, ill run heats and features. say if we have 12 quads in open pro quads, ill run 2 heats of 6.  top 3 in each heat will go to front row and other will take the second row.  there will also be PLENTY of practice as well with probably 3 rounds. 
are their any special precautions i need to know or any special thing quads guys will need so that i can be prepared?
