I have a belt drive and got around that problem by snorkeling my belt intake and exhaust. my friend has a king quad that is a belt drive ,I saw him ford a creek about 100 foot wide and a good 21/2 to 3 foot deep without any problem. one thing though, if your friend does get a belt drive have a drain plug installed if it don't have one . makes getting any water out of the belt chamber a lot easier.

congats on your dsl, I got it over cable because it came by my house 1st. nothing but trouble  some nights slower than dailup,but I'm stuck with it for a year.then its cable for me

I have an 05 450  I've gone through water above the headlights. the thing you have to remember is the air intake for the trans ,if auto, is under what would be the hood,and it will fill with water .when it gets to much the belt will slip to the point of not pulling the atv at all. I found this out about half way threw a really deep water hole. like chest deep, took better part of 10 min. to drain all water out and get it to pull itself again.

first I'd like to say I have not ever ridden on a trail system so I don;t know if it will be good or bad . but I'm willing to try if I have to and it sounds as though I will have to . second, there is an old saying , you may out run my police car but you won't out run my radio, and i'm sure that would apply to atv's as well. I for one can't take the results of loseing that kind of a race. at best it would cost $$$$ at worst I'd be a crippeled wreck and out a lot of money.  or I could be some place where nothing would matter.(dead)

I for one would be more supportive of this war if we had any kind of exit plan or even any hopes of seeing one. We are spending a billion a week over there ,building schools and bridges and whatever, how about spending that here.  So I guess you can say it's all about the money for me. How about getting some more oil for our investment. We can never be payed enough for a soilders life but for our money we should at least get something. I know you'll say were doing the right thing and that should be payment enough,but it's not.

Go to the hosptial,  they will send you a bill  when you get the bill call them and explain you have no insurance, then start playing lets make a deal.   my 900  bill for emergency room was cut to 368   only thing is be ready to pay what is setteled on.

my group stayed there on last ride ,(seebejim & qt ) it was nice dispite all the owners rules.  no unloading atv on the grounds, no speed over 4.5 mph on the grounds ,ecet.
but it wasn't bad  I think were staying there this time also

glad you are  Ok. now for my 2cents worth . wearing a helment is a pain but it is not as much of a pain as it is to pay an ambulance ride to the hospital last one I took cost $1400   wearing a helment as was stated before is free

I have a small boat that I was makeing repairs to after the repairs I loaded it on my atv trailer and took it to put it back in the water  there was no boat ramp just an empty lot so I backed in and unloaded  as I pulled out the truck got stuck   I ended up useing my atv  and a shovel to get the truck out  then had to use atv to get the trailer back to the rode  in the mean time the man who owed the lot called my favorite peopel    He issued me a tresspass warning and made me move the boat away from the mans  property

just a quick note to say on the last ride I and seabe jim each picked up roofing nails in our tires  Seabe got 3- I only got 2  mine were both in the same rear tire  I tink Jim got 2 in 1 and 1 in the other rear tire.   don't know where we got them  poss. on the trail next to road from chillens to the parking area .   

I'd like to join the ride also    hope it don't rain this time ,I'd like to see more of the trail than I saw on the last ride.

death is only one way to instill fear. for those who do not fear death there are other things more terifying than death  you just have to not care what the world opion of you will be.  one example would be to casterate the men so when they got to their heaven all those promised virgins would do them no good

if we had taken more time geting through Iran ,put more death and distruction on the ba------- instilled more fear of the US in them from the get go  I think they would have more respect for use. now they see the US as talkers and not doers

take it from someone who has been there on the hart thing. it's a lot less painful to do without the tobaco and the greasey food than it is to get your chest back to reasonabel pain free ater it is opened up and they play inside it.  it's been over 2 years and mine still hurts if I lift to much or get to trired

don't know what kind of atv you have but my 3 yamahas run almost empty with the petcock in the run position ,none of them require the petcock to be in reserve at 1/2 tank.

as long as it's not directed at me I won't care, with my sence of hearing I,d probably have to read your lips to know what you said anyway.
