Call up Steve at Modded Motorsports. 727-432-0270 He'll take care of ya. He's in St. Pete.
x2

Uhmm yeah, good luck there.
I say contact TRXasaurus.

Yep...have had good luck there for 4 years now.  The only customers I've met with complaints of him are the kind you don't want around anyways.  i.e. non bill payers

Par for the course at Hardrock. If you would have met his son you would've thought he (the old man) was the nicest guy in the world.

Good luck....if it wasn't for video of the perps stealing Alan's bikes I doubt he would've found them.
4  General / Racing Scene / Team Modded Motorsports @ Loretta Lynn's on: August 17, 2010, 10:28:22 AM
Team Modded Motorsports headed to Tennessee with all the intentions of putting their team and team captain Steve Glandorf in the winners circle and make a resounding statement....and they did not disappoint. From the first gate drop team riders showed that Modded Motorsports and it's riders are a force to be reconed with. The team walked away from LL's with 3 podiums (1st,2nd,3rd) one 4th and two 6th place finishes. The team also finished out the ITP/Moose Racing series with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th place overall finishes for the season.

T.C. Nales garnished a 3rd in open A and 4th in production A at the event with overall finishes of 2nd in open A/South series, 8th production A/South series, 4th open A/nationals, and 7th production A/nationals

Bryan Williams went 1 and 1 for a South series championship and an impressive 3rd place podium nationally while only racing the 6 southern races.

Alan Molony got a 2nd in open B and 6th in production B

John Kuhnsman showed an outstanding 6th place finish in the open C class at his first nationals ever.

The #2 crew would like to thank everyone involved in making this weekend fun and exciting.
the Glandorf family Steve, Becky, Christen and Tyler
the Molony family Dan, Andrea, Steve and of course you Alan  Kiss
the Mangene family Lou, Joey and Doug
the Kuhnsman family Jim and John
the Williams family Bryan, Maria, Bayley and Wayne
George Kukos of Sky Powersports New Port Richey and one of T.C.'s most valued sponsors

The #2 crew would also like to extend our sincerest appreciations for all our sponsors and friends who were all instrumental in T.C.'s successful season. Most importantly to Steve for keeping us up and running, the Molony's for getting us to a number of races plus some. George Kokus of Sky for keeping us supplied with parts. Van of V&M racing cylinder heads for providing some awesome arm stretching power and the Madl family for putting up with me and helping us make it to some of the races too.

We had a great run and are proud to be part of the Modded Motorsport team and all it stands for.

If you guys support the series, I will 100% support you...we can have money classes, and maybe get a southern fl track to do a silmilar series and have a north v south end of series shoot off, 3 or 4 times a year.

Just for the record Paul.....my negativity was not directed at you and your track. We have raced there before and attended the Jeremiah Jones riding school there and had nothing but good times and no troubles.  Rather at those that say we are a nuisance yet don't hesitate to call on the quads to bail 'em out of hard times. Yeah our numbers don't match that of the "other" group and I they won't ever will. Too expensive and more difficult a sport for most.

At RedBud the announcer said the pro quads were turning nearly 4 second faster lap times than the dirtbikers did when they were there. So we also put on just as good of a show to boot!
6  General / Racing Scene / Re: FTR mx on: August 07, 2010, 01:58:58 PM
Think the #2 crew will finish up the season at Dade then take a break and use the off time to test and tune for next years nationals.  T.C. would love to run a FL series but he enjoys running the nat's and we need a break at some time or another.  We might make a few though.

Hopefully someone will get a good FL series going for the quads.

Funny how when the bike numbers suffer our boys are all of a sudden considered as a "bail out package". Kinda like "we need all the quads to go out first practice to clear the mud off the track".  That's why the nat's are alot more appealing to us.  You don't get the feeling you're playing second fiddle.....oh and no "support" classes or "open" practices.

T.C. will be there.  They were a little dissappointed with the turn out last weekend.  They were hoping they could provide something that the quad riders would enjoy.  Maybe it will pickup up this weekend.  Remember, the make up race is on Sunday and I believe ladies get in free for Sun. Valentines day....give them a call to make sure.

12  General / Racing Scene / Re: Sponsor Cup Roll Call.... on: January 15, 2010, 05:32:46 PM
I've seen 13 year olds racin' 450's at DCMX.

T.C. was 15 when he got on one and started racin' there half way through his first season of racing.

During the first year of the series you had to be a "B" class or better rider.  I think if you got the balls to run it and don't ride like a goon Randy will let you sign up.

T.C. had run only 3 or 4 "B" class races and was fresh off of his "C" season and recovering from 2 back to back injuries when he signed up.  Mom and I were nervous as all get out.  Although it was his choice....we don't regret it.

I've see Brandon ride. I would have no complaints if he entered. I guarantee you by the end of the season that kid will be one heck of a rider if he did.
13  General / Racing Scene / Re: Lakeland Quicktrack is back!!! on: January 15, 2010, 05:18:44 PM
Great to hear !!!

I'm sure we'll be headin' there as soon as we get a chance.
14  General / Racing Scene / Re: Sunshine Quad Series Who's coming???? on: January 15, 2010, 05:16:11 PM
That's dissapointing to hear Jake. Was looking forward to seeing you out there.

T.C. figured what better practice than to race and that's why he'll participate in all the series he can including D.C., SSQSA, Sunshine and the nationals if we can make them. The only deciding factor to skip some I guess would be lack of $.  So far we're just broke but not too awfully...LOL.

As far as the price increase it's the same total amount for the riders...they raised your gate fee by $5 but dropped your ride fee by $5 so it's a wash. As for the spectators they went up $5. One of the employees said something to me about complaints of no electric and shoddy restrooms.  Maybe they'll fix that with the increase...IDK...Huh

They are really trying over there to accommadate everyone.  Heck last nite at OPEN practice they had an injury and a long lull in practice and went past 10pm and gave every class their full practices and let the big quads go out alone....and there was only 1 left...guess who ?

I Really hope the riders will turn out and show them how much the quads appreciate not being treated like leftovers.  I know every rider can't make every race but the ones they do they ought to tell the track staff how much they appreciate it.
15  General / Racing Scene / Sunshine Motocross Quad series class structure on: January 13, 2010, 03:48:03 PM
Talked to Cassy from Sunshine today.

She said they were going to follow the same class structure as Dade City for the minis.

She also told me The $ class would be $50 entry fee with a 100% payback and they (Sunshine MX) intend to add more $ to the purse.
16  General / Racing Scene / Re: Sunshine Quad Series Who's coming???? on: January 12, 2010, 10:13:57 PM
Mark,

T.C. plans on running it and Dunk will be in town for a while and was interested in it.

Let us know what you hear Tues.

Hopefully we can produce good turnouts and build from there not only at Sunshine but maybe others will follow suit.

A five bike race against an A, B, 30+ and 2 minis is just not a race.  When a track steps up we need to support.

Hopefully you can make it to a race or 2.

19  General / Racing Scene / Re: Sponsor Cup Roll Call.... on: December 18, 2009, 05:19:00 PM
Scratch T.C.'s name off the list.  He's decided to hang it up and quit racin'.

Roll Eyes  Yeah like that's gonna happen anytime soon.  Roll Eyes

I'm pretty sure he's in.
20  General / Racing Scene / Re: Quad only race series@ Sunshine MX on: December 18, 2009, 05:07:20 PM
If you have a particular class that you run, or would like to see, then give them a call and some input. I'm sure they would be glad to hear it. This is new to them and they are not up to speed with all the classes provided for the quads.

727-481-8162 ask for Casie
21  General / Racing Scene / Re: Quad only race series@ Sunshine MX on: December 17, 2009, 11:07:23 AM
As of Tues night they were trying to finalize it with input from us.  We told them it absolutely had to not interfere with Dade or their turnout would suffer or worse be nill to none.  They listened.

Some of the classes will be simplified like the minis puting restrictions on suspension and motor but not worrying about all the aftermarket parts that don't provide a performance gain like handle bars and such. Thats something to be worked out.

It's important to note that we did not ask for this. They approached us with the idea and wanted input so it would be worthwhile.

The way we look at it is our kids need seat time and what better practice than to race. And thats the only good way to get gate time practice.

They plan on the first race to be held Jan.16 was what I was told.
22  General / Racing Scene / Re: Quad only race series@ Sunshine MX on: December 17, 2009, 08:49:20 AM
This series is being scheduled so it wont conflict with Dade City, SSQSA or nationals. It will be short...I believe 6 races. Tentatively only one race will be scheduled with the dirt bikes due to the dragstrip sched. and the other series but they stated they are willing to listen to any ideas.

The folks at Sunshine have really been trying to work with the quads.

You guys and gals keep saying it would be nice to have your own series and now you have a few tracks/promoters listening. Go out and support these tracks and series so they will want to do more.

Keep checking their website for future anouncements and I will post any info I hear.

Our family would like to extend a huge thank you to George Kukos and Sky Powersports of Hudson for sponsorship of T.C. for this years 2009 Dade City Sponsors Cup series.

Sky kept us supplied with all the parts needed to end with a good finish behind the likes of some great riders this season. We look forward to doing lots of future business with the great bunch of people at Sky.

Give George Kukos the lookup for the hookup at Sky Powersports of Hudson.
