Kids (teens) & adults that don't respect the great sport of riding atv's are idiots!
We're losing more & more land to ride, and those who ride & do whatever they want really hurt the sport.
I'll admit, back in the 80's (when this sport started) I was a teenager and I rode & did some things (minor, but wrong nonetheless) I shouldn't have been doing, but we wern't under scrutiny like we are today. But I realize now how close we are to losing our priviledges of riding.
I hope you all that don't yet understand.... do quickly!

'Bama had a great year, and they've still got some "real" recruiting to do before they're officially "back", so they're going to get better, and I'm looking forward to it! Props to the Utes! They were the better team, and my congrats to them. I still say ROLL TIDE!!

We have had a few comments about running the main event on sunday. as a few mentioned that some people cant stop racing at 7 on sunday drive home & work on Monday.
I can't run them all on one day but I couldit so we the main event on sat, then the SXS sat night, then the kids on Sunday morning after we re-groom the trail.
Anyone else have a problem with the times, if we are going to change it, I need to know quickly.
7pm on Sunday is a little late. Heck.... it'll be dark & late! Saturday prolly would be best, IMHO. I think a good event run time would be 7am to 5pm, that way it starts & finishes with daylight.

Chuck aint washed up, yet. Up to the KO punch....he was just fine, and winning. He just needs to better his game. He's succeptable to being KO'd, yet he fights with his hands down. These younger strikers throw their punches quicker, and WHAALA!! KO! If Chuck isn't going to better his game...he should retire, otherwise....he aint done yet. Props to Evans for the brutal KO!

I'm a Ford man....owned several with well over 120,000 miles, never had problems with any of 'em. Heck!! My Mom's 1993 Ford F150 has a better ride (suspension wise) than most all the NEW trucks out to date, Nissan, Ford, Chevy, GMC. Currently driving a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE....love it, other than the harsh ride, but haven't had no problems so far w/125,000 miles. Would like to have the new Tundra. The TRD has the best ride of any full size truck. This is hands down the best overall, and most reliable full size truck going. Again...I'm a Ford man, driving a GMC, and wanting the new Tundra. They are ALL good trucks, just some better than others.

Someone at work today said he died at the hospital. I would have thought he went instantly. Does anyone know if thats true? Very very tragic.
Well, I heard the same. Maybe it was "officially" announced at the hospital, but it's very likely that impact was the end. Man...it's just so sad.

Looks like the explosion knocked him out, then burnt the chutes off. He never touched the brakes. Sad. His Dad has been racing since the 50s'. The funny cars have to be the most dangerous ride in all of NHRA. Sitting just behind that Nitro motor....is just plain scary. I watched the NHRA finals last night....great show, great & close racing. Was an awesome tribute to Scott Kalitta. He was scheduled to go out against Robert Hight in the First Round...the very first Funny Cars out. Hight lined up, then many of the Kalitta crew walked out to the lane (where Kalitta would have been) and when the light went off.... Hight just let the clutch out and "idled" down the entire 1/4 mile. Quite an emotional moment.

I'm curious as to why Uriah has not been show cased on the UFC? It has to be due to something contractual. I can think of several opponents I would like to see him matched up with.
Why? Uriah is a Featherweight (145). UFC's lightest weight is Lightweight (155). If Uriah ever decides to move up to 155, then the UFC will welcome him with open arms. that would be BJ Penn correct ? If BJ stays at 155 then yeah! But since he won the other night....he did call out George St. Pierre....he wants rematch, so we may see him moving back up to 170 (Welterweight). I think if GSP defends his belt against John Fitch in Sept....we might see BJ v/s Pierre by year end. Just my opinion.

No doubt Kimbo can be a monster but right now he is just a media star, he's in every magazine. Classic story of Internet star turned tv drama superstar.
He has alot of training to do and its going to be awhile before he can be considered an MMA star. He has none to little ground game but can take a beating. Saturday's match was the the first mma match he actually was on the ground, he did good for a minute and a little while but then gave up at the end of round 2.......No cardio. In time he will be decent but never a champion
HAHA....you think? He didn't have a Randy Couture or Tito Ortiz dropping 'bows on top of him, or he'd been done quickly! Thompson isn't even a good fighter....fair is pushing it. Kimbo has potential in the future....just not right now. Bas Rutten (very good MMA'er in the past) is training Kimbo, and he just needs fights to gain some experience.
