clean the clutch ??

Hey guys not sure if this the right place but I have a issue  with my 2004 sportsman 500 when it gets in a bind like in deep mud or pushing on a tree,hill the bike starts running very bad,and it can not shift out of the gear it is in,the shifter gets into a bind,if the bike stalls then you can move the shifter then. any help would be great tnks.....

You guys look like you was having a blast, I was out there Sunday It should be a lot more fun now that all the rain we got.If someone could put a post on here when you guys are going back out so folks can join in that would be great.

Kinda don''t know it was a housing development that was draining  swamp land making roads EPA came in said you guys can't do this the place was abandoned so far we have had no trouble (knocking on wood ) hope it does not get messed up!!!!!
