1  General / Open Discussion / Re: ATV Insurance on: December 12, 2007, 08:30:37 PM
Ok, I'm 22 years old, my credit is good. I think the $32 a month for insurance on an ATV is a little pricey. What is a good price to pay for a utility atv with no after market parts, plus cover the trailer? Any help would be great.

If you have Un/Underinsured motorist coverage, that could be driving your rates up too.

No, your car insurance would not cover the damage done to your ATV in that situation.

I'd love to see some pics too.  Unfortunately, I started drinking too early and forgot about my camera.   Sad

I have an 11 year old on a 250.  You have to look at the kid though.  She's only 11 but shes 5'5".  If I went by the recommendations, she dwarf the bike.

A big problem you have is you are in Palm Beach County.  For a lot of companies, that is one of the "Big 5" (high risk-hurricanes.  I don't agree but, hey, they make the rules).  Also, certain areas of Lox are still kind of far from a Fire Station and/or Fire Hydrant.  Another high risk in their opinion.  Call Tracy or pm me.  One of us can do better than that for under 10 years old!

The inspection was probably a wind mitigation inspection.  Has to be completed by a GC, Licensed Inspector, Architect or something of that sort.  It CAN cause a HUGE savings.  This inspection is anywhere from $100 to $300.  Contact your company first though.  They may require it done on their own form.

If the house is over 50 years old, USUALLY can't get anything other than Citizens (it can happen though).  There are a few companies that will write 30-50 still.

St Lucie Premier Productions LLC is putting it on.  Not sure if it's for awareness or pure money maker though.  Due to the name, I would guess money maker.

Maybe we can call it "The boring grownups room!"
That may help but, doubt it.  Really good try though!
13  General / Open Discussion / Re: ATVFlorida chatroom? on: April 25, 2007, 09:16:40 PM
That's not going to keep the young'ins out.  It makes it more appealing to say adults only!

Not really a park.  Cow fields, mud, some trails.

20  General / Open Discussion / Re: sport quads on: April 19, 2007, 07:11:45 PM
The only thing I agree with Matt on are speeding through the camp areas.  But, you are generalizing.  They are people who don't care, aren't on the site, and aren't trying to get more riding areas.  It has nothing to do with Sport Bikes or not.  All bikes do that.  And, if a sport bike wants to go through the mud, so be it.  4x4 or not, everyone can and will get stuck.

Finally, you're advertising that you're drinking underage!??!(your profile says your 20?Huh)  What is wrong with this picture? Who are you to complain about others not doing the right thing when, you aren't either??

I agree with Anoriginal about getting a ride together.  I would love to finally met some of you!  Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'm going to make it to the rally either Sad
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: Garage Liability Insurance on: April 17, 2007, 06:26:42 PM
There are several companies that will write in FL still.  I, as well as RACA65, am an Insurance Agent for an Independent Agency.  It is usually easier to get commercial insurance through an Independent Agency than State Farm, Allstate, etc as they have more companies to write with.  PLEASE feel free to PM myself (or raca, I assume that he is willing as well) with any questions or problems.  I am always willing to help and we write ANYWHERE in FL.  (some are harder to write but, we can find it)   Smiley

I'll send a pm on this.
24  General / Where to Ride? / Re: HAS ANYONE BEEN TO L-CROSS EXTREME? on: April 07, 2007, 06:31:24 AM
It's pretty good.  Definitely mud, not trails.  I'm not as fond of taking my kids there as I am other places but, it's a good adult weekend.  They have an adult weekend coming the first weekend in May.  Have you checked out their website?  L-Cross.com
25  General / Open Discussion / Re: Pitbulls! on: April 03, 2007, 06:47:50 PM
The other way is to find homeowners insurance that will exclude dog liability.  That way, they don't care what type of dog it is.  As for renting, not sure how to get around that.
