General / Open Discussion / Re: ATV Insurance

Ok, I'm 22 years old, my credit is good. I think the $32 a month for insurance on an ATV is a little pricey. What is a good price to pay for a utility atv with no after market parts, plus cover the trailer? Any help would be great.
If you have Un/Underinsured motorist coverage, that could be driving your rates up too.

A big problem you have is you are in Palm Beach County. For a lot of companies, that is one of the "Big 5" (high risk-hurricanes. I don't agree but, hey, they make the rules). Also, certain areas of Lox are still kind of far from a Fire Station and/or Fire Hydrant. Another high risk in their opinion. Call Tracy or pm me. One of us can do better than that for under 10 years old!

The inspection was probably a wind mitigation inspection. Has to be completed by a GC, Licensed Inspector, Architect or something of that sort. It CAN cause a HUGE savings. This inspection is anywhere from $100 to $300. Contact your company first though. They may require it done on their own form.
If the house is over 50 years old, USUALLY can't get anything other than Citizens (it can happen though). There are a few companies that will write 30-50 still.

The only thing I agree with Matt on are speeding through the camp areas. But, you are generalizing. They are people who don't care, aren't on the site, and aren't trying to get more riding areas. It has nothing to do with Sport Bikes or not. All bikes do that. And, if a sport bike wants to go through the mud, so be it. 4x4 or not, everyone can and will get stuck. Finally, you're advertising that you're drinking underage!??!(your profile says your 20? ) What is wrong with this picture? Who are you to complain about others not doing the right thing when, you aren't either??

There are several companies that will write in FL still. I, as well as RACA65, am an Insurance Agent for an Independent Agency. It is usually easier to get commercial insurance through an Independent Agency than State Farm, Allstate, etc as they have more companies to write with. PLEASE feel free to PM myself (or raca, I assume that he is willing as well) with any questions or problems. I am always willing to help and we write ANYWHERE in FL. (some are harder to write but, we can find it)

It's pretty good. Definitely mud, not trails. I'm not as fond of taking my kids there as I am other places but, it's a good adult weekend. They have an adult weekend coming the first weekend in May. Have you checked out their website? L-Cross.com

The other way is to find homeowners insurance that will exclude dog liability. That way, they don't care what type of dog it is. As for renting, not sure how to get around that.
