Jack & Tat4u it was great meeting and riding with you guys as well... good to get muddy again... sorry I missed the show! I was driving up 27 thinking about you guys holed up at Mack's and was wishing I didn't have to leave. I've got to say Jack I think that was one of your best posts ever. It pretty much captures the essence of why I love being out in the everglades as well.... as you say "Gods Country" TRUELY!
Tat4u thanks for showing me how to get through the glory hole... (without hitting the gator) LOL!
Jack, I had planned on coming out tomorrow with my buddies and was going to bail because of all the intense stuff I've got going on this week but after reading your post I said F-it I'm going! Your right, ride it while you can because it's a rare and AWESOME!!! opportunity to be able to ride that part of the swamp which is always under water and only accessible by airboat.
I'll look for you tomorrow and maybe I won't punch you in the eye... maybe.

Does anyone know if you can ride there during the week. Also their website is down... maybe they are shut down or too many people riding out there. Would like to try to ride there Thursday or Friday.

Have been looking at the 400 MAX (now Can-Am) which is the 2 rider model. The salesman at the dealer was trying to tell me I need the 650 and that the 400 wouldn't have enough power for me and one of my kids on the back. I'm 185 lbs and none of my kids are over 50 lbs. I was all ready to pull the trigger on the 400 and am now confused by the salesman's comments. In a side conversation with the sales manager he told me he had been on one over the weekend with an adult on the back and said it had plenty of power. They would just fall behind a bit when all the single riders would take off down the flat strait trails. I'm also not exactly going to be hauling ass with one of my kids on the back. I've heard even the 400 has more power than any bike in it's class. They make a 400, 500, 650 and 800. Not sure why he was pushing me so hard on the 650 but I found it a big turn off for that dealership. Any comments on the 400 would be helpful.
