General / Racing Scene / Thundercross / Okeechobee, Florida
|
on: October 27, 2008, 06:16:39 PM
|
The word is on the street that Thundercross will be open this weekend for practice. We heard from Dean, today that they will be ready to go saturday morning. And I think you are allowed to camp out friday night if you want to. This is by far the best new news south florida quad riders could hear. At one time Thundercross was considered one of the best MX tracks in florida and the same people are running it. So lets try to have a large number of quads there and show okeechobee what were made of.

yep carrier bearings and cpi's are the best for the money. they go for about $600 shipped and you will need to rejet after the install. i have a set of cpi small bore pipes for sale, let me know.

General / Tech Corner / Re: Oil question concerning my YFZ.

it will not hurt anything if you have double the oil. all it will do is pump the extra oil out of the crank case berather. witch goes all over the swing arm. when you change the oil:
1st- empty the oil tank 2nd- empty the cases, witch is under th shifter 3rd- change the oil filter 4th- start the quad with the drain bolts out for a second or 2 then shut it right off. 5th- drain bolts back in then put 1.2 qt of oil in the tank 6th- put .8 in the engine, by the the stator.

General / Racing Scene / Bithlo saturday?

Some of the TM crew will be training at Bithlo this weekend. So if any quad riders would like to join us, come on. Dyno's & flow benches are great, I know that first hand and you need them to make the best package out there but the track is where the rubber meets the dirt!

#25, because it was how old I was when I built the quad I use to race. No racing any more though. Some girl hit me on a 4 day old cbr1000 and I broke my feamer. WTF, o-well I guess I'll start helping others get to where I wanted to be.

Personally I loved the quad. It was very fast but the seat sucks. Other than that it is the quad to have. i would not buy one untill next year though just because it needs more time with people like ChrisW. and the others that are working on it to make it the baddest quad ever! Well, I don't care about motors, teams, or riders.
I just want an honest opinion about the Can Am.

No one said that about the LTR. It was said about the 2007 GSXR1000. But I wouldn't expect any of you to know about those motorcycle things. Make sure if you are talking, you know what you are talking about! I was just wondering......... Does this Quad Re-map itself Like You Told Gio The Zuki's Do? Heck maybe this on will Run pump Gas with 14:1 Piston in it...... Who knows Maybe i need to go get a few G's back for the Power Commander,All the Custom Maps for different motor set-ups,And Dyno Time I've paid For,Maybe Smoking And Knocking is the norm Ahhh What do i know I'm a Couple of French Fries Short of a Happy Meal Anyways
Hey Blind,I think He's Down to 8 riders now.........

I don't understand how this thread got to be about the TM riders and how they do. It says the new TM Can-am, not what are the TM riders doing. If you must know, no engine failures and no one got hurt. So everyone knows where they can go for results so why are you still posting on my new Can-am thread?

how many riders on atv's do you have now? are you looking for someone to ride that can-am or is that a customer bike?
I have 10 riders in the ssqsa and 3 that live in Indiana. I just bought the bike so I can start working on it to deveolp all the best racing parts that you would come to expect from TM. pistons, cams, valves, FI, exhaust and chassis stuff.
