1  General / Open Discussion / Re: Perhaps the biggest waste of time, money and resources ever. on: May 13, 2007, 10:46:02 AM
Mostly #3 here with some 2 mixed in.  The family rides together, and the kinds of trails I would like ideally are ones that actually go somewhere.  When we lived back in PA, you could jump on a trail and ride for 20 miles, into another town for a couple of road sodis and jump back on the trail and down to the river...it was an all day trip you had an actual desitination where you could stop for lunch, and it was totally safe.  You didn't have to worry about someone coming flying acrosss the trail from another direction at 40mph.

I highly recommend the M16A2 Service Rifle.

Sir, the M16A2 Service Rifle is a 5.56mm Lighweight, Magazine Fed, Air Cooled, Gas Operated, Shoulder Fire Weapon, Capable of Firing Either Semi-Automatic or Three Round Burst.

The Maximum Effective Range of the M16A2 Service Rifle is 2682 feet at an area target, and 1604 feet at a point target.

Sir.

Oohrah!

Enough of you know me and have ridden with me, I am sure there are pictures out there.  Check with BamBam, ATVGirl, Digital, LilRedneckGirl, BigDog, NosPrairie, RCrow, BCConviber, their friends (I don't remember all of you, sorry), or just come out and ride with me and my crew.....once we hit the trails or the mud, freedom just comes naturally  Grin

So stumbled in here after catching up on some other ATV forums....Ya'll are wild.  Let's ride!
5  General / Open Discussion / Re: FairTax on: November 25, 2006, 09:06:15 PM
The way I see it, the best thing about the Fair Tax is that I don't get penalized for the amount of money that I work to earn.  AND, I am in control of how much tax I pay.  If I don't want to pay excess taxes, don't buy new cars, grow a garden, drink more water, etc. etc.  Reality is that i'm probably too lazy to do those things, but as least I'm in control...  I don't see that there's a loser anywhere.

Regarding Monson, I'm not sure what went on. It sure wasn't the Snowman that showed up to fight. Monson should have been able to beat Silvia.

Agreed.  There's no way that Silvia should have won that so easily...it wasn't even close.  When Snowman got on top he should have been able to to something.  The size difference really came into play more than anyone thought it would....and Monson seemed to gas early....and it didn't help that his eyes were totally closed for the last round.

I really can't stand Silvia, and can't wait for him to have a real contender.  What do you think of Silva stepping up to heavyweight?  He made Ken Franklin look like a little girl in their last fight...

ALL I HAVE TO SAYIS, I AM SORRY I MISSED OUT ON ONF LAST WEEK, AND ALSO MATT IS THE BEST
#4# FIGHTER THAT HAS EVER ENTERED THE UFC, HE HAS NEVER BACKED OUT OF A FIGHT! GSP HAS,
YES GSP WON, FAIR AND SQUARE! BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE THE WORLD OF MMA HAS NEVER SEEN A MORE SKILLED FIGHTER THAN MATT, LIKE HIM OR NOT HE IS THE BEST, HE WILL BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF GSP IN THE RE MATCH, AND JUST LIKE ROYCE GRACIE, MATT WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST, AND OF COURSE HE WILL EVENTUALLY LOOSE FOR THE LAST TIME AND THEN RETIRE, LIKE ROYCE GRACIE WILL SOON DO HIMSELF. OH AND BY THE WAY I HAVE MET MATT IN PERSON AND HE IS NOT AN A$$ HOLE AT ALL, HE IS A SUPER NICE DOWN TO EARTH GUY, I THINK T.V. MIGHT BRING OUT A BAD SIDE OF HIM.      I WANT TO FIGHT THE WINNER!!!!!!! I WILL SHOCK THE WORLD!!!!!!

You wouldn't be saying that if you saw the fight.  Hughes was completely dominated.  He could do nothing against GSP.  I like him, and wanted him to pull it out, but he was thoroughly outclassed.

Sounds great...thanks for the heads up.

I actually just got a Kawasaki Brute Force 650, and got her a KFX 90.  I used to ride when I was a teenager and had a couple of Three-Wheelers through the years, but this is the first time with a quad.

I've been brainwashing her for 12 years, and finally, this year it paid off.  When asked what she wanted for Christmas, my little angel said a Four-Wheeler.  This of course meant that Dad had to get one too to keep her safe.  Wooohooo!   Wink

She'll have time to practice in our yard for a week before going, and she has a go-cart now, so it's not completely foreign.  If Croom isn't too crazy, maybe we'll try that first since it's closer.  Do you buy the stickers on site...or is it something that I should take care of ahead of time?

Thanks for your help.

My 12yo daughter is just getting her first quad for Christmas and I was wondering where would be the best place to take her riding with regards to safety, family atmosphere etc?  I don't want to have to worry about idiot drunks flying by at 40 mph...and this is my first ATV in 15 years, so I don't have any experience with local riding.  We're just north of Tampa in Wesley Chapel, thanks for your help!
10  General / Product and Services Reviews / WFO Kawasaki on: November 25, 2006, 09:51:50 AM
I just had my first dealings with WFO Kawasaki in Brooksville, and it was a pleasure.  After looking to buy a couple of quads and shopping at several dealerships around Tampa Bay, I was surprised to find such a nice store in Brooksville.  Lots of stock, employees that enjoy the sport, as friendly as could be, and they gave me the deal that I was looking for without a whole lot of haggling and sales games.  I have no experience with the service department, and I know that this can be a completely different animal...but I'm hopeful.
