Before anyone can give you a good opinion you really should tell us how much money you are willing to spend.  That has a lot to do with it.  And also where and what you will be hunting.  In florida you can get away with a smaller calliber.  But anywhere else you need something with plenty of power for the bigger animals.

I'm a hunter in ONF and we run dogs.  I was just saying this weekend that it was really nice that when the atv'rs came up on us they slowed down when passing.  I can't say the same for the dirt bikes.  Oh well.  I would recomend wearing and orange vest during hunting season.  $4 bucks at wal-mart could save you an extra hole.

Hi all.  I'm new here and just wanted to say hello.  I've been reading for about a week now on the web site.  I really like what I see.  Just bought my first ATV 2 weeks ago and love it. I have been hunting in ONF for a few years now and am looking forward to exploring places I couldn't get to in my truck.  Look forward to meeting you all and talking with you.
