General / Open Discussion / Nascar Hood Value?
|
on: January 16, 2008, 07:09:41 PM
|
I was wondering if anyone knows what it might be worth. Nascar Busch Series Greg Biffle Hood from his Grainger/Rousch Racing Car. It is slightly dented and a corner bent b/c it was from an actual race. I saw a few for sale that had a range of about $500-$1000, but not sure how accurate that is b/c they were on E-bay and we "replicas". If anyone has any insight or would like to buy it let me know.

wow, you must have gone cheep on the charger considering whipples charger on the standard puley should make around 10, i may b wrong... what brand did you go with?
Sorry I haven't been on in a while to answer this, but mine came with the SC as JohnF said. It is an Eaton SC which in stock specs pushes 5-7lbs of boost, with the new pulley i was actually around 10lbs of bosst. BTW my truck has been in and out of the shop for 3 weeks now mainly b/c the dealer does not want to warranty aqnything else since the truck is "modified" My arguement is the fact that they already replaced the supercharger "under warranty" 2 weeks ago and now refuse to even touch the truck. I guess I have to go fight with them now.

I'm going to have to say...leave the pulley alone, I just swapped the pulley on my 2003 Supercharged Nissan Frontier (about 41k miles) within 2 weeks my supercharger basically ate itself. I took it to the dealer and they checked it out, the entire charger had seperated and came apart. Stick with what it has. I went from 6-7lbs of boost, up to 10-12lbs...down to 3lbs of boost. Amazingly the dealer did not notice the swapped pulley and gave me a brand new supercharger.

AintSkeered & stacktester : I actually thought that everyone on here was a descent person. If I happen to have an accident with you, I'd like to think you'd be a nice enough person to understand the word "accident" and if anyone is hurt, by not helping them your just a worthless human. Leave me on the side of a trail broken down and bleeding and I would hunt you down. It is ridiculous to be that ignorant to leave a person in pain and suffering. I don't see how you can sleep at night. Apparently your in the wrong sport, you should try and join UFC take some of that anger out elsewhere. Careless is one thing, but accidents are another...learn the difference. If you feel the need to "Beat I disagree to sleep" go ahead, all I know is that you will get what is coming your way. I thought they had a law against allowing the ignorant to breed so we didn't end up with people like this.....

It was a really nice day out there today, I just got home and I am ready to sleep. I think we will have a large group out there in like 3 weeks. It's a long drive #21yfz, but well worth it. I've already read on here about the thefts from the hotel, so you might not want to stay there. Camp inside the area, it's only $15 a night. Banshee-nick, I belive we passsed you on the way there on the highway.

hmmm....off of the turnpike???...I know of places off of I-95 but, I have never heard of it off of t-pike and I live/ride here. None of the spots around here are legal to ride, so I'm sure it doesn't have a name.
