We can't wait until we go. The thought of A week of nothing but fun. The girls i work with can't beleave that I am getting worked up about getting dirty they just don't understand that dirty is fun. And to drive 6 hours to go do it. My son is counting the days too and he is 7 years old. I really have to thank our friends that we met at big scrub for turning us to DP.

I think it's sad, we have a hard time finding places to ride close to home and the chance to ride legally on a dirt road is cool, but they can't let anybody have fun can they. I live in O'Brien and all we have to ride in is fields and our yard( unless we want to go out of town to ride) I think we do need to get togeather and say something. people are getting hurt on way more things than ATVs.

You can still camp at big scrub, but the fun status is low. We went A month ago and the sand pits were closed and you can't play out front. Lake Delancy to me is better. The trail system is nice and you can camp there for 6.00 a night just like Big Scrub.

Big Scrub isn't what it use to be. They have closed down all riding in the pits and some of the old loop trails. The place to go is Lake Delancy, which is at the north end of the forest. The trail system is nice and there is a big sand pit. lots of fun for that area.

Durhamtown was great! My family went in April. I have a 7 year old son and he did the drag strip and the peewee trake and loved it great way to spend family time. We are going back in November for ThanksGiving week.

September 30th & October 1st is when ATV only weekend will happen. I have an Uncle who has a jeep and he takes it in the big pit. The ATV area was truly a mess. They have a big hose (to me it looked like a fire hose) that they have water all day pouring out of it and it is black mud. They do have a dry area to ride just becareful there is alot of traffic going in and out. It was fun.

If you like mud you should try Horse Hole In Inglis Florida. Our family went to watch mud trucks and took our ATVs and rode I got really muddy. At the end of the month they are having all ATV weekend.
