It only makes sense to go to Glades County or Hendry county. Still basically untouched and can be there in an hour from either coast. Land is way cheaper than by the coast. You may have to dodge alligators though.

We all need to buy "Fire blankets" I bet if you put one of those thin fire blankets over top of you it'd hide your heat signature in FLIR.

Better have one big enough to cover your atv too. That can put out some heat too. I spend alot of time in the air when i can which helps to keep the engine cool.  Brows

According to the project manager, there will be some form of supervision.  Don’t know if county sheriff or park ranger.  There will be rules and regulation like any county park.  I don’t know all the rules yet.  Everyone must sign a waiver upon entrance

Excellentay! Keep the goofballs away. Jolly good show thrumud! Toast

Oh by the way, I can double up and not wear a helmet can't I?  Yup!

I tip 30% on Pizza deliveries. I know it's alot but I want to be on their good side. My brother used to manage a Pizza place in Clewiston and had to fire a guy he caught letting loose of an oozing drippy hocker on someone's pizza.  Barf!

Have you priced the sand rails they use in California? I see why they make 3.2 billion off of OHV. One forum I was on had sand rails starting at 40,000 up to 195,000. I'd say their market can afford a few fees when you spend that kind of money on leisure activities.

Will there be someone there that can write tickets and keep the idiots from doing donuts in the parking area? When they open this area, they really need to have police there writing lots of tickets so that the trouble makers will go elsewhere plus the message will get out that that kind of crap will not be tolerated. The last thing you want to do is get bad press and have the environmentalist wacko's jumping on this. Once that happens, you will see closures. Just my two cents if it's worth that.

Or just say you believe in the death penalty and you will never be allowed on a jury. That's how a buddy of mine got of jury duty in a murder case. He went in and ranted and raved about how the death penalty is underused and made a big scene. They looked at him cross eyed, said thank you and told him to go home. Works everytime.

I thought it's been like that for awhile. When I call Pizza Hut here in Sebring. They read back my number and address that is stored in their systems. They don't know who my employer is, well yea they do but that's because everyone here knows everyone else not because they store that type of data. Personally, I'm glad that I don't have to read off my address everytime I order Pizza which is . . . 5 times a week. Same technology as caller I.D. I believe in a court case awhile back, phone numbers were deemed not to be private information. If it was, the 911 system would not work right.

Haven't you seen those helmets with the drink holders and straws. You would be alot safer that way.

For the money it seems like the Honda Rancher (2007 model, not the 2006) is good. Can't do backflips on it but for MSRP $5299 its not bad. Getting a quad for my wife and probably will get that for her. As for me, I want a sport quad with more power.

What we should do is encourage the rangers to toss their butts out. Unless the rules are rigidly enforced, you will always have aholes that will do this crap.  Bang Head

A man walks into a hamburger shop and orders a regular meal. Later, the waitress brings his meal to him. He takes a bite out of it, and notices there's a small hair in the hamburger. He begins yelling frantically at the waitress, "Waitress, there's a hair in my hamburger! I demand to see what is going on!"

So, the waitress takes him back where the cook is and to his demise, he sees the cook take the meat patty and flatten it under his arm pit. He says, "That's disgusting!"

Then the waitress says, "You think that's disgusting you should see him make donuts."
16  General / Open Discussion / More Redneck Jokes on: September 07, 2006, 06:01:43 AM
You must be a redneck if:

Your front porch collapses and six dogs are killed.

Your family tree doesn't fork.

Your home has more miles on it than your car.

Your brother-in-law is your uncle.

You've ever financed a tattoo.

You go to your family reunion to meet women. Thumbs Up

Your idea of a 7 course meal is a bucket of KFC and a six-pack. (Hey what’s wrong with this!)

You consider your license plate personalized because your dad made it in prison.

Your dad walks you to school because you are both in the same grade.

Your wife has a beer belly and you find it attractive. Toast

Ya can't get married to your sweetheart cause there is a law against it.

When a sign that says "Say No To Crack!" reminds you to pull up your jeans.

You wake up with both a black eye and a hickey. Owie

We live in a free country and if somebody wants to do something that we would think as nuts then they can do it. Of course you live (or die) from the consequences of said action. I commend the family for not hiring a lawyer and trying to find somebody to sue like alot of people do. That would disgust me. He made a mistake and died that's it. Kind of like the guy who pulled up to the grand canyon to take a look, got out of his car, forgot it was in neutral and his three kids went over the edge. Mistakes happen.

I know Belle Glade and Pahokee very well. I was at work one day and heard gunshots and a girl was killed on the main road going into Pahokee. Whatever you do you need to realize that there are some very ill drug addicted people there. They don't fight. They shoot. They don't have the strength for a good fist fight and they know it. After hurricane Wilma went through I was cleaning up around one of my offices. While my son was helping me clean up, we looked down the street and saw a bunch of police cars following a lady walking down the middle of the highway with traffic backed up behind her. She was o.d. on crack. When the grabbed her and put her on the gurney she was crying out for momma. My son just stood there with his mouth open. The moral of the story is let the police handle this theft. They know how to deal with these people or person as they are used to it. They know they need to use force if you know what I mean. I personally am not against police brutality in an instance like this.
