The 70's is cold for us Florida people that have been dealing with upper 90's for the last 6 months. Today is the first time in a long time that I can open my windows and let fresh air into the house. So to most of us the 70's is cold. Today is a great day.

That's great news, we love to camp and ride at Croom. Been doing it for almost 15 years. It's the best. Hope the camp host is better than the last one. He was never there, until you got ready to leave. Then he would always find something we did wrong. So away ways, Yea on the reopening of the camp ground

Still $60.00 a year is a lot of money when you can't camp. I can't afford the gas for a day trip when I live 70 miles 1 way away. What is the deal with shutting down the camp ground any ways?

Flags are a good thing. I have found while riding on a blind turn sometimes you will see a flag coming at you before you see the atv. The flag is way up in the air sometimes it can be seen over the bushes and through the trees. Flag can help to prevent some accidents. We use flags everywhere but Croom.

I really think they screwed up when they raised the camping rates and the so call camp host (what a butt) entered into the picture. Croom was a cash cow for the state until they got greedy. I paid $80.00 a year per bike (4) and $12.00 a nite to camp. But then they raised it to $24.00 a nite. If they had left everything the way they were for a lot of years, the state would still have there cash cow. But when they was charging $55.00 per bike we figured they made about $450,000.00 is sticker sales in one year, not including the $12.00 per nite per camp site. That was a lot of money the state just gave up because of their own greed. Put Croom back to the was it was and start making money again. This is just my opinion.

We only ride and by Honda's. Our oldest one is an 1985 350X, and all we have ever done to it is service & chains. The foreman's have gone to hell and back with no problems. I ride River Ranch with a couple of people that have Polaris, they are always having to fix something. Big Red all the way.

Well we went to Croom. Arrived early sat the 3rd stayed until tues the 6th. Very very quite. At most only 6 campers. Could ride for ever and not see anyone. I was great. They will be closing for 3 weeks to do some up keep and what ever. All in all we had a great time and will go back. Oh by the way the camp host was never there. He showed up the day we was leaving and became a butt hole. Happy trails
