Seeing your red cast reminded me of a story that happened at work. I work as a corrections officer for the State of Colorado and we had an inmate break his hand in a fight. He had to go to the hospital to get a cast on it and the nurse who was casting it asked him if he wanted it any certain color? The guy is a "Blood" gang member so he asked for a red one. For some reason the armed transport officers did not catch onm to what he was doing so they did not say anything. This guy goes back to the prison afterwards and is using his cast to flash his gang colors everywhere so we had to send him back to get it re casted with just a regular white cast and then a e-mail was sent out to everyone not allowing offenders to pick what color of cast in the future. They now only get white casts and that's it.

No, I live in Sterling Colorado. It is a local track about 10 miles from my house. We are going back Monday for some more fun. I will post some more pictures of other areas of the track then. There won't be as much mud so I can take the camera to other areas and not worry about wrecking anything.

I went to Christian schools most of my life and up until high school they paddled the students for certain things. I got my butt beat almost daily too then Mom would find out what I did at the end of the day and round 2 came from her. I have to say this though. At the school that I went to, it was never abuse but nothing more than a few swats on the butt. The principal always talked to you before you were swatted and let you know what you were being swatted for (as if you didn't know already) and then once he got done swatting you he would talk to you some more and maybe try and give you advice on what to do differently the next time so you would not have to go to the office. For you parents though just remember this. (Only kidding folks)

Oh man those are some sweet pics! Makes me a little homesick too. I know what your saying about gas prices as well. All of my atv's and jet skii's have not been ridden nearly as much do to the cost to either go to the lake or the track. It sucks! I'm hoping to get back out to Cali within the next year and take the toys out their with me. If I do, Glamis will definitely be hit!

#1 that sure aint Fl. #2 you guys sure have tough right calves. I cant ride my YFZ without pants and riding boots....HOT
On my 05' it wasn't really that bad but I have a Pulse Charger full exhaust system on it and it is jetted spot on. With the 07' we definately felt it a little bit. In fact my wifes calf was a little red for about an hour afterwards. I think once I re jet hers and put a different pipe on it that will change though.

I was born andraised in San Diego so Glamis used to be a weekly adventure for us in the 70's and 80's. Then when I got older and started driving we would go out there every few months in our trucks. I am dying to get back there again. As far as Wynoka Oklahoma and the Little Sahara sand dunes, I live about 6 to 8 hours from there so if anyone ever does a trip, let me know and I'll try and meet you on a Sunday or a Monday.

I am glad to hear that the Lord kept your son safe and healed him of any injuries. I also know what you mean about prayer too because I have seen it work many times where the doctors were left baffled because they had already given up hope. God bless you and your family for your testimony that you shared! Jay

Your a braver man than I! As soon as that thing would have latched onto my atv, I would not have stuck around and taken pictures! I would have been running away and screaming like a frightened school girl! The look on my face would have been similar to this kids!

Thank you for the prayers.
She has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer. They say she has had it for a year. she has had several complications arise this past week, but they should be starting chemotherapy tomorrow. We definately have a long hard road ahead of us.
Her name is Heather. She is 32 years old, and has always been strong and in good health. Doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, etc. Any of you that have met her knows she is a sweetheart who is always smiling and would go out of her way to help anyone. Her life revolves around her family and our 3 year old little boy.
Thanks again, -Brady
Brady, I am a pastor and will be lifting your wife and your entire family up in prayer! With your permission, I would also like to post this is the prayer request section of my web site. There are many strong Christians on my site who I know will want to be prayer for her as well! Please pm me if there is anything that I can do for you or your family! God bless, Jason

General / Tech Corner / Oil question concerning my YFZ.
|
on: March 01, 2008, 07:57:58 PM
|
Hey all,
A few months ago I made a post that when I went to change my oil and I drained it, the oil tank and where the filter is was bone dry but the YFZ had been sitting for quit some time and no oil had leaked out of it? I guess it was hiding in the motor somewhere because I just added the new oil into the oil tank and the other area next to it that also takes oil. After I started the YFZ up the old oil mysteriously reappeared?
Today I went out riding for the first time in a long time but I forgot about the oil having double the amount in the engine and oil tank. I noticed after my first ride that there was a lot of oil that had blown back from the motor all over my rear swing arm and that area. I had a 2 1 liter bottles of Mountain Dew that I emptied oil into from the oil tank but it is still over flowing. My question though is where would the oil have been leaking from to blow back? I can't find any place that is leaking on my YFZ. Is there an oil overflow tube or something? Also by having all of the extra oil in the engine, could I have hurt the motor? And, aside from doing another oil change, is there anything else I should do?
Thanks, Jay

Thanks guys! The Pulse Charger definitely has a unique sound to it. I actually have 2 jet skii's The red one is a 99' Kawasaki Ultra 150 and the other one which cannot be seen in that picture is a 96' Kawasaki 750 SXI stand up. Here is a picture of them taken a few years ago.

I love it! I went out with a guy who was a tester for the pipe and he let me strap it to my YFZ along with 2 other pipes for comparison I really like the Pulse Charger over the other ones. It pulls from bottom to top and everywhere in between. It's a little harder to jet but I spoke with the guy who designed it and he gave me spot on jetting advice. His first guess with my altitude was right on so my quad runs like a champ. I've had it on since May of 05' I believe and have ad no problems at all with it. But then again my YFZ only has about 30 hours on it.
