We would like to thank ALL for the thoughts and prayers for Ryan! It seems that we racing families share the emotions of a rider and there family when something like this happens! We believe that is what makes this sport so strong! We thank God that all Ryan has, is a broken wrist and a couple of spraines. Bones can heal! We all know that every trip out onto that track, be it practice or race is a gamble! One our child wishes to take, and we will support him to the T! Our prayers go out to all of the injured riders and their families!!! And we are VERY GREATFUL for all the well wishes!

Hey Cam, my little #8 Buddy! I hope you have a speedy recovery! It was def a tough weekend for the #8's, but we will bounce back! Getting hurt sucks, as we all know, but we have to take the good with the bad, and this is a part of the risk we take to do what we love. You will be out in front again!!!! Just learn from it, as I hope I have, at least your wreck isn't on You tube and getting played over and over again. "ssqsa open b last lap". I saved it to my myspace too as a reminder to me! Cam, you toke a pretty bad tumble and you showed how much toughness you had when you got back on and rode the last lap! I gotta give you props, man! You're #8 Buddy Ryan! |

The track was great, but the night was tough!
TC Nales, Shanna Morgan, and Tracey Covil took some pretty hard hits,
that lead to a couple of hospital trips. Please keep us posted on their progress!

Our thoughts are with all of you that have sustained injuries this weekend!! We pray for their speedy recovery!We hate that with this sport, as we are all aware of, is a gamble and a chance that we take, and often I ask myself why I allow my son to race, and simply I believe that Life itself is a risk, and that this sport, has brought so much emotions to surface, that I could not, deprive him of what he loves some much. In a day, where children are bringing drugs,guns, and so on to school, if they even go...To have a sport that keeps us so very involved in his life, and to see the joy, it brings him and ALL of these young athletes, the gains do not outweigh the risk, yet make them worth taking. If you should ask Samantha Cheetham, Jackie Eineder, Shane Johnson, and any of the other riders who were injured, they would agree and tell you how excited they are in anticipation to get back out there! Just as Jake Gunn keeps bouncing back, TC Nales is chomping at the bit! I see a lot of casts on arms, legs, etc.. yet they still come to watch, and cheer on their peers! These are amazingly strong children, with great character and drive! I am proud to have had the fortune to get to know and love each of them! My heart goes out to your parents, whose hearts are heavy! Be Proud and know that your children are in a lot of hearts, and you are not alone! Karen Ellis #8's mom   Keep us Posted on the Status!!! |
