5  General / Where to Ride? / Re: ok i have some questions. Grizzly Bear please help. on: August 31, 2006, 01:47:22 PM
OK Mr. GrizzlyBear a few more questions for ya ! Is the new trail across the street from the OHV Operations Center ? Is it mapped out on line yet? Will one tank of gas on a 360 Kawasaki Prairie make the full trip ? I noticed that the gate at your Operation center is closed to the public, after this event will you allow parking outside of the locked gate for this trail ? Long long is the full ride and the time it will take ? Any shade at thre OHV Operations Center. I did visit the Lake Delancy camp ground last weekend. It is nice but not allot of room. Five deer ran in front of me and my wife 1:30Pm in the afternoon NICE !

Went riding on Sunday morning and stopped by a WMA Officier and was told the the rules in the 2006 - 2007 regulations summary in handed me, stated we now need to have a orange flag at least 10 inches wide and 12 inchws long and displayed at a minimum height of 6 feet above the top of the seat. They are also looking for the green and yellow tags on our ATV's.

Anybody interested in riding early tomorrow at Holeylands 8:00am ? Really the only trail left after all the rain is on the north side of the dike between the parking lot and the dam. Everything else is under water. The north dike trail is still a good ride, 7 to 8 miles with a little bit of everything. I live in Wellington and will be leaving around 6:30am.

Canam - Man I lost your phone number please call me at 214-1997. We can ride this weekend. There is a big ride up in Ocala on September 30th. A half and full day ride through the Ocala National Forest with a large group. It was fun the last time at Holey Lands. The second run through the trail was a little fast and I spained my back, won't do that again! Big Scrub camp ground in the Ocala National Forest has great riding trails also. Only a 2/1.4 hour ride from Wellington.
