Thanks for the compliments guys. I got them from CarbonCovers.net. He will make them for any quad and will use any logo you want on them. They are real Carbon Fiber and the logo is under the clear coat.

General / Where to Ride? / Camping at Croom question

I ride at Croom and have been for years but I have never camped up there. I was thinking of taking my son and a friend from work up to ride and camp. My question is how secure is your stuff up there at night when you camp? I know the horror stories of stuff getting stolen at the hotel there at the entrance so I was curious about back in the park at night. Does everyone kind of look out for one another or do you need to make your stuff pretty secure. Having 2 brand new bikes stolen a year ago I am kinda leary about losing another set.

After hurting my leg I gave up my dirt bike and got a quad. Here are some pics of my 06 400ex with AC Pro Pegs and Armadillo XCL bumper. Waiting on skids to arrive. Forgot to adjust date on camera...

General / Where to Ride? / Question about Ocala trip

Me and a friend want to ride in ONF on July 5th. I just purchased a ATV in Tennessee but I live here in Tampa. I havent had it registered yet because I still havent recieved the title but I do have my bill of sale from the dealer. Will I be able to ride with just that and my photo ID? MY friends ATV is registered and titled here but he doesnt have a green sticker. If he goes without a sticker will he be able to ride with just his title/bill of sale and photo ID? I always ride at Croom and neither of us have been to ONF yet but want to try it out. Any help with the above questions would be great or a number to talk to somebody that would know would also be very helpful.

Easy there tiger, I wasnt pointing fingers at anybody but I still stand by what I said. By the way I never mentioned a thing about the vice president. The problem really boils down to getting away from oil to produce fuels. Like I said though too many people would lose too much money to switch over to a alternative and the superpowers around the world wont let that happen.

Lets see.. we have a oil man in office thats running the country. There is the problem, you dont really think he cares about the price of gas and how others suffer do you? He making money off it too.
As for the other fuel alternatives, there have been plenty other things found to replace oil for fuel. The problem is the goverment buys them out and hides the ideas. Money makes the world go round folks and unfortunately oil has made alot of people and companies alot of money and just think how much money would be lost by all the monopolies of the world if oil wasnt used as a main fuel source anymore.

General / Tech Corner / 300ex Clutch install

I picked up a new basket and clutch plates to replace the clutch and plan on starting it next weekend. Looking at the Clymer manual it doesnt seem too hard but are there any special tools I should pick up for the job? The manual said something about a clutch removal tool to get the locknut off without it turning on you. I have never done a clutch before so I just want to get right the first time and not screw it up. Any advice would be grateful.

Thanks, I know it goes on the left side but with my bikes I just put it on my forks. I was just trying to get ideas where you guys are putting them on the quads beside the body. I might be able to get it on the frame somewhere.
