How's your friend doing?
He's healing up but losing lots of weight since he's on a liquid diet. Jaw wired shut on both sides. Has to carry wire cutters in case he vomits he has to cut them open and open his mouth to prevent choking to death. Other than that he's taking it easy and resting. Not much to do for the broken bones but let them heal considering their locations and they were broken but not shifted out of place. He took the stitches out already. He's just hating life with no real food and not being able to talk normally. Thanks for asking. On the bright side beer is considered a liquid.

General / Open Discussion / Re: Anyone use "Log Me In"?

I just started using it a few weeks ago cause my uncle is computer illiterate and lives in NC. So getting him to describe something that is wrong is virtually useless. Took me 30 mins to get him to go to the log me in site and set it up for his computer with me telling him exactly what to do step by step.

They say no long term effects. I forgot which company he works for but I can get the name again. He works in HIllsborough county. His name is "Bubba" Nicholas Stocco (I think that's correct spelling).
Sorry that is a few counties away from where I am at in Broward. Me personally I would go after him through the court and seek restitution. I called the cops on my best friend cause he got drunk and took my phone and was being an a-hole and wouldnt give it back. $200 phone. I was gonna have him arrested but his did came along with the cops and got him to give me the phone so his dad could take him home. He is 6'5" 260lbs and I am 5'11" 140lbs. Dont do the crime if u dont want to do the time.

Well if the kid is trying to be a firefighter/EMT/Paramedic he will never get hired with an assault charge on his record at least anytime within the next 5 years. Depts look at everything including your credit rating. I am trying to get hired right now on any dept I can. No assault charges just a bad economy.
Are their any possible long term effects from the damage? With that said maybe ur friend can make a out of court plea deal for $$$$$ if he can/will drop the charges and/or make an anonymous phone call to his work. where and who does he work for? American Ambulance, Medics, American Medical Response are the major ones in SE FL.
I dont see how it can be agg assault. The hit directly lead to the injuries. Thats like saying someone driving intoxicated hit someone and left the scene and the person died. They wont just be charged with the hit and run/leaving the scene. The prosecutor will press for charges of at least manslaughter or something to that effect.

General / Open Discussion / Re: Riding a street bike with no motorcycle endorsement?

I got stopped in a parking lot on my brother's bike cause the tag had fallen off. I had no motorcycle endorsement. The cop wrote me a ticket and let me go. I got a learners pemit and showed the judge. Cost me about $200 for the court cost. I am 5'10" 140lbs and did the bike test on a Yamaha Road Star Warrior. Tester didnt think I would pass.
It was a nice bike until my brother(bike owner) flipped it several times after loosing it going 80-90 around a corner and walked away with a bruised chest from the mirror. He had on his gear and it was the second wreck. His wife wont let him have another bike but I told him he can keep it at my house.

The staff endorsed camping, RV parking, fishing, archery, hiking and biking but opposed ATVs, saying they would affect wetlands and increase traffic and greenhouse gas emissions from owners trailering ATVs to a site halfway between Miami and Naples. So I guess you only use gas when hauling an atv. I should get me an rv and drive it around since it doesnt pollute.

I went there the other day with a friend cause we were going to the 1 mile race there but his friend told us the wrong date. I know it is in discussion to make 1,600 acres there a recreational area and there is a sign at the entrance about the meetings.
There were several trailers there where people had parked and went out in their buggie's and maybe 15 more parked in what looked like a storage area. On google earth you can see the tracks and what looks like a "camp" with two white roofs but the pic is probably a few years old.
What makes them able to ride there? Do they "know someone"? Have buggies always been allowed?
I have searched but here and the internet but couldnt find an answer.

I own a BF 750i, my brother owns and Sportsman 500 efi, and my brother in law owns a Arctic Cat 700 efi.
See what features u like dislike in a quad and look at the choices u have. Look at the controls on the bike. Do u like how they operate i.e. the arctic cat diff has a lever that u flip to lock the front diff but the Brute Force has a lever that u have to hold for the front diff to lock so with out holding it it operates in 3wd. On the other hand a polaris has available full time 4wd which in my opinion is the best 4wd system on a quad today.
My next quad will be efi just because I hate changing jets and with efi u can just change the programing.

is it hard enough to travel over all the grass and swamp?
havent been out there since the post. But it wasnt hard and the grass held up pretty well. Where I rode the grass was already flattened. It is hard to ride through 8 ft sawgrass that is standing. I have done it before and even had to walk through it when we ran out of gas. Now that it has been raining it may be up a foot or more.

Sportsman has irs and real 4x4
Foreman U dont want to lift as the rear drive shaft would be at too steep of and angle. Friend had one with a 2 inch lift and it snapped the rear output shaft comming out of the engine. Does not have real 4x4 so only one wheel will spin in the front when u get stuck.
Both are great bikes. I personally would go with a bike that has irs and efi.

I went shopping there over a year ago. It was not a pleasant experience and I shot him an email afterwards to voice my opinion. I asked if he could start the one I was looking at up because I wanted to hear it run before I start signing. He told me that it is guaranteed to run without a problem and when I pick it up I will see.
Why would i by something that I cant hear run first. In the email reply he sent back to me he said non of the quads have gas in them per fire regulations. Well he didnt explain that to me in the store and gave me the run around. I too think he doesnt have good customer relations skills.

try atvconnection.com in the polaris section. I know for the 2006 sp 500 efi the front diff is the same as on a john deere and u can get a rebuild kit for it under john deere that is alot cheaper then getting the rebranded polaris parts. My brother rebuilt his front diff from a loss of oil and not checking.

was out there last sat and there was only 4 bikes there and 2 of them went across the street. Me and a buddy went a couple hundred yards out from the ramp before I said to turn back as it was only two of us. Thinking of going out their with 2-3 bikes or more if I can get them on sunday. Just have to finish relocating my radiator to the rack and I am good too go.
I have never been out from the ramp besides that one time.

You accuse her of stealing the money after she returned your wallet? Did you ever stop to consider that she found it empty? I'm glad you're no police detective.
Um...$200.00 finder's fee....... Thank u exactly what I said in the OP

I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Dont u see the sarcasm? I as her out to dinner, lunch, or where ever she wanted to go. I could even talk her 4 wheeling. This is all on the tought that the person actually is a girl. It was a joke. The person who sent the wallet back could of just thrown the wallet away. Would u go out of ur way and mail a wallet back without keeping at least some money? I wouldnt and it is my wallet i am talking about
