2  General / Where to Ride? / If you want to continue to ride in FLORIDA on: December 12, 2013, 08:46:28 AM
Then you need to sign this petition and get everyone of your friends to as well!!!!!!!

Yes, today we are fighting for Collier County Residents to have somewhere to ride. Look around folks, Port Charlotte doesn't allow riding in the entire county, Area 51 SHUT DOWN and FINED, Dirty Foot Adventures SHUT DOWN, Bad Luck SHUT DOWN, North Port SHUT DOWN, many local tracks fighting with ordinances all of the time to remain open. If you think you can turn your head because this is for Collier County you are wrong. This can be your town next, wouldn't you want someone to support you then? It is not being hiden that the Locals, The State, The Government and all other policies do not support what we do, they would rather us to drive to another town. If we do not wake up we will be driving to GA to ride soon. Then again, maybe that is why we continue to lose riding areas. Seems like we only care when we are personally affected.

WAKE UP PEOPLE

Here is the link for you to sign the 20-30 second petition. Please share it on other forums you visit, on facebook and anywhere else you can think of-    http://www.change.org/petitions/collier-county-commissioners-allow-atv-ad-hoc-committee-to-do-their-job-to-find-a-suitable-facility-to-allow-the-collier-county-residents-to-use-their-off-road-vehicles-in-a-safe-and-legal-facility?share_id=uGIRGxrMMq&utm_campaign=share_button_action_box&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition
3  General / Open Discussion / Re: Money for a ATV park in south Florida???? on: December 06, 2013, 06:42:23 PM
Jose Camps you are such a moron I logged out of the other account to post this while at dinner....  you have no friggen clue what the partnership is between the county and 4 possible facilities.  Talk about hearing opening soon.... you've talked about a so called park from you as long as I can remember and you WILL NEVER HAVE ONE!  As for FTT and hearing about them opening you might not ever have to worry about them as you are probably not welcomed there!

6  General / Tech Corner / Re: RTR Performance Engines on: April 09, 2011, 10:09:35 PM
My son had his head ported by RTR a few weeks ago and other than that his quad is stock.  Today on a line of about 15 quads my son pulled the holeshot and he had at least 150' on the class.  That thing made some power today!!
7  General / Tech Corner / RTR Performance Engines on: April 08, 2011, 02:10:33 PM
I just wanted to let everyone know that RTR Performance Engines is #1 in my opinion.  They worked my sons engine over and it is amazing.  We dropped it off and 2 days later it was ready!  They answered the phone every time I called and answered all my questions.  I am so impressed that they currently have my engine giving it a complete make over. I can not wait to put it back together and feel the new power!
8  General / Open Discussion / Excited on: April 08, 2011, 02:06:50 PM
As I type my engine is receiving a make over by RTR Performance Engines!  Out with the old and in with the new!!
9  General / Open Discussion / Re: Meeting Set for Proposed Off-Road Vehicle Park South of Mulberry on: March 21, 2011, 09:39:10 PM
The meeting was good, had almost 40 people present.  We shall see if they are able to get the grant to get it going.  I thought there would have been more there to support it.  The proposed site is close to the old sand mountain, at least on the same road CR 630 2.5 miles east of HWY 37
10  General / Racing Scene / Re: Drag Racing on: February 27, 2011, 03:51:04 PM
Deff a very humbling experience! Sand robs horsepower lol, that and fighting fuel problems all day! The heat was killing me fan ran continuous and the motor was hot! I was soo lean it was scary! New plugs wires and iridium plugs were getting me some good spark, so much that I was maxed out on fuel and it still wasn't enough. But on another note we set a track record again last night at our local mud drag! 2.69 seconds in 150ft and it was a nasty pit last night! Had a blast though and I look forward to coming back to dirty foot.

It was nice meeting the 2 of you.  I am definitely wore out from this weekend.  What a great time.......hope to see you out at the next one.  Don't forget about the harescramble races your quad would be awesome for that!!!!!
11  General / Racing Scene / Re: Drag Racing on: February 24, 2011, 08:00:39 PM
Does anyone know the physical address to dirty foot? Never been and trying to google map it, thanks!

google the intersection of singletary road and county line road, they are on singletary 1 mile north of that intersection

They do not have a physical address
12  General / Racing Scene / Re: Drag Racing on: February 17, 2011, 08:12:02 PM
They were switching the event from last month to this month and that is were the confusion came in.  I just spoke with Colon and it is confirmed for the normal times
13  General / Racing Scene / Re: Drag Racing on: February 17, 2011, 08:02:36 PM
sorry for the confusion, the race starts at the normal time and that is:

On Sat, Feb 26th, DFMR will be having 2 styles of Drag Races: Bracket and Heads Up Style Double Elimination Drag Strip Races!!!!!

From 10am to noon -
We will start @ 10am with test and tune. This will be the practice time that the bracket racers will want to determine their dial in time. The heads up racers will work on finding the right set up for the track during this time. We will allow the test and tune 2 hours ending @ 12pm....

Noon to 1pm
We will take a break at 12pm for track maintenance, this will last between 30 minutes to an hour.

1pm
RACING BEGINS!!!!!! We will begin with DOUBLE ELIMINATION bracket racing with cash prizes for the winners!

Following the bracket race, we will do some track maintenance and roll right into the heads up races. This will also be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION tournament.

The divisions will be:

- Dirt Bike
- 400 and under
- 450 (stock) and up
- unlimited/modified
- UTV
- SxS
- 3 wheeler

After the races we will present the cash awards to the winners and then allow time after the race for some more heads up racing. This is the time where the racers can race each other for the fun of it or put some cash up to make it interesting.

Please note that every racer must have at least a helmet, unless you are racing in a side by side, then your machine must be equipped with a roll bar and seat belt. The only other requirement is a racing number. If you do not have one, we will assign you a number to attach to your shirt or machine.

The cost for each race is $5 for registration and $10 for the winners pot. You may choose to run both races if you like.

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER BY EMAILING US THE FOLLOWING INFO TO info@dirtyfootmudranch.com

15  General / Racing Scene / Re: Drag Racing on: February 17, 2011, 02:06:41 PM
What's everyone running for times? And is there any fast 4x4 bikes? I've never ran 300' so I have no clue what to expect..... I saw a mean blue yfz with paddles, any idea what he runs for time?

Yes a 4X4 won the last race!

true story  Grin
16  General / Racing Scene / Re: Drag Racing on: February 17, 2011, 01:55:24 PM
Dont forget about the new spectator fees

Drag Racing Fee

Spectator Only: $10 for 13 and up
                      $  5 for 6-12
                            5 and under are free
Racers Fee:      $20 membership fee Plus
$  5 Registration fee plus $10 that goes into the winner's pot

We have quads that get down the track in 5 seconds and some that do it in 11 seconds.  We have a good mix.  Most of the big 5 second quads have been beat in the bracket races by little kids on 50cc machines. I will tell you that it is a blast to race and also to watch!!!!!!!!!  See you at the track

Just wanted to remind everyone that there are drag races going on at Dirty Foot on Saturday the 26th. Heads up and bracket racing.  Last weekend there were some guys down with some 3 and 4 second quads!!!!!!!  I also heard Skully Motorsports was going to make it out with his 4 1/2 second quad and might be bringing a few of his others.  Should be lots of fun, who is coming out?

24  General / Racing Scene / Re: 300' dirt drags 1-29-11 on: January 27, 2011, 09:27:51 AM
What's up with classes? I have a 4x4 I wanna race will I have a class? What are some of yalls times? My best to date is a 4.5 in 200ft without paddles.

There will be a class for you, if not in heads up at least in the bracket racing.  Times for the 300' range from 5.0 to 10.8.  So far the record holder is a YFZ450 which has ran several 5.0 and 5.1's on all motor
25  General / Racing Scene / Re: 300' dirt drags 1-29-11 on: January 19, 2011, 11:14:33 PM
Ty and I worked all night on his.  Besides buying a new clutch lever and having to re-adjust his clutch i think we have it figured out.  Ended up putting in a new hub and pressure plate and that allowed us to go to a 9 pack clutch.

Mine starts right up, idles fine and revs quick.  Seems like it is back to normal.  Still have to determine where all the coolant is going.  We hope to give them both a run the street a few times tomorrow.....

I was just told by Ford today that the truck is worse off than expected.  They are going to try to have it back by next weekend  Huh

Problems.....Problems.....and more problems   Sad
