ok, i kinda like the Sig but idk, kinda want a more conventional AR. i want one like this one: http://www.bushmaster.com/catalog_xm15_BCWA3F16SL.asp but not necessairly bushmaster. one from another company like s and w would be cool too or something but setup like that.

Thats what I picked up at the gun show with red dot sight & lots of extras...used.... for $800...

Anyone heard of the rescheduled dates yet?

I hear all sorts of rumors, but we all know how those work out....
3  General / Open Discussion / Re: artic cat prowler650=kawaski teryx 750 on: November 21, 2008, 09:44:15 AM
I had the 660 Rhino...liked it fine...friends have the Ranger XP 700, Rhinos, Terex...all of them stand by what they have...More aftermarket parts for Rhino & RZR than any of the others.....450 Rhino has lower gearing and is lighter..mudders choose the 450 over the 660....
4  General / Open Discussion / Re: GPS Mounting on: November 21, 2008, 09:40:43 AM
I put velcro on the saftey label, and on the back of the GPS...Worked good for me.
5  General / Open Discussion / Re: buying rhino 450 or 660 on: November 21, 2008, 09:37:22 AM
What I have heard is that the gearing on the 450's is lower, and it is lighter, so better for mudding....660 is faster top speed....
6  General / Open Discussion / Re: JOB - URINE TEST on: November 14, 2008, 12:08:46 PM
(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their A**, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . . . Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!
guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

I AGREE...!!!

12  General / Tech Corner / Re: Troubles with Polaris sportsman need help on: August 14, 2008, 11:16:23 AM
Can I ask a couple of questions...?

You said it loses power? ..You mean the engine slows down or the engine revs, but the bike slows down?   Does it only lose power when going up a hill? Not on flat ground...? It is only 1 of the 2 you bought correct? Does/did this one get used more or less than the other one? Do you cross water often, or DEEP water at all?

It's hard to explain. It's like the engine slows then picks up It's like it's cycling. Yes it only loses power on a hill. And yes it's only one of them. It's funny my son rides his hard runs it through mud and water and it runs great. On the other hand I ride my fairly slow and don't ride in mud (unless there is no other way to get where I am going LOL) or run it through water. I haven't had it in any water.

My son and I have ridden about the same miles but I just poke along and look at the sights.

I am not seeing the machine in person, but from what you are telling me, I don't think it's a clutch problem. Any chance you have gotten some contamination in the fuel? If you are riding easy most of the time, then the only time you would be heavier on the gas was when going "up hill", so that may be the only time the contamination shows up or causes problems. I would try draining the float bowl on the carb, and adding some SeaFoam additive (or something similar) if you don't want to drain the tank as well.

Hope this helps.....Good Luck!
13  General / Tech Corner / Re: Rhino Brakes? on: August 12, 2008, 03:39:29 PM
For the record....I actually got pretty good wear out of my stock pads compared to what I have read. I did end up going with the EBC "Severe duty" pads and I will let you all know how they work out...

15  General / Tech Corner / Re: tire question on: July 22, 2008, 12:12:16 PM
If it's 4x4 you will....tires have to be the same diameter....(height), or you will be tearing up your 4x4 in no time....
16  General / Open Discussion / Re: Legalizinf in FL? on: July 22, 2008, 12:04:22 PM
Put one of those Farm Equipment orange Triangles on the back.......claim it's an ag vehicle..... Wink
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: Legalizinf in FL? on: July 21, 2008, 03:37:50 PM
Why would you? Unless you are just riding in your nieghborhood they will eat the rear tires cause theres no diff....and any motorcycle gets better gas milage....
Just asking.....
18  General / Tech Corner / Re: Mud water in belt drive on: July 08, 2008, 11:34:37 AM
Only "safe" claener I recommend for almost everything...Simple Green....Flush it out good with plenty of water....
19  General / Tech Corner / Re: Rhino Brakes? on: July 08, 2008, 09:01:34 AM
I've heard that one too...but I would rather keep it...I made 700mi before it went so I am ahead of the curve on brake life....I just want to get the "better pads" if I can....
20  General / Tech Corner / Rhino Brakes? on: July 08, 2008, 08:38:04 AM
OK...Seems like all Rhino's eat the rear brakes fairly often....SO...what brand is the "best" replacement, and where do you recommend getting them from?

Thanks!
21  General / Open Discussion / Re: what do u think on: July 07, 2008, 02:37:50 PM
I think maybe if you have no idea what you are doing...you shouldn't be working on the head with out a service manual.....start with something easy....like an oil change...or carb cleaning....maybe tire pressure....JK
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: RHINO vs. RZR on: June 25, 2008, 03:48:46 PM
IMO...RZR's are fast and handle great, ride great too....I have seen them do great in the mud as well.

That being said we decided on a Rhino...

It does "almost" as well in every arena...but it burns less gas, has more aftermarket parts (at the time), has a higher air intake (without snorkle)...and you sit higher (without a liftkit) in areas that have a bunch of water crosssings.....Plus it has MUCH more cargo room for coolers, gear, and gas cans...if you are doing anything but pure mud blasting .....

I don't have any idea on the Terrex or Big Red...
23  General / Open Discussion / Re: BAYOU 220 PROBELMS on: June 06, 2008, 12:13:38 PM
Sounds like dirt or water in the carb. Try some SeaFoam in the Gas or remove and clean the carb...

If you are as secure and self confident as you claim, then why even respond to my posts?

I have fun with this crap....it is obviously much more important to you..... Bow

I bow to your superiorness... Bow

Never met a lawyer who sued without a client asking him or her to do so.  Wink

Oh, and Darwin never killed anyone.

It's all personal with you.....1/2 our income is from a lawyer.....

It's just that every time we turn around there is some civil or class action suit wanting millions of dollars because people refuse to take responsibility for their own actions....spill coffee in your lap and blame McDonald's? PLEASE! Shoot yourself and sue Ruger for not making a "safer gun"? WTF....

take a joke....you are such a pain in the ass....but you are right about Darwin....It's just that lawyers haven't evolved from "the bottom" yet....is that better?
