8  General / Racing Scene / Re: Flattrack Racing in Valdosta this weekend July 15 New Info and Directions on: July 19, 2006, 08:11:42 AM
you can now add one more to the Ga. list.    Hoozier Daddy got my motor running again.  seems the ESR carbon reeds broke.   one corner of a reed and half of another got sucked in side the cyc.   one good point,  ESR is sending two complete sets of reeds out for free. (i'm thinking they might have had this problem before?)

Love you son,

12  General / Racing Scene / most wins at ocala ? on: July 11, 2006, 10:07:49 AM
On the lighter side, here is a little trivia for everyone,  with all the smack out there about who is the fastest,  who is the badest, and what quad is the best,,      does anyone know what rider has the most heat race wins and the most a-main wins on the flat  at thunder bowl ?  Smiley Think about your answer before you speek.

13  General / Racing Scene / Re: July 8 Ocala Thunderbowl Speedway Flattrack on: June 27, 2006, 07:57:29 AM
superstar,

i've only spoken with you one time at the track, but i just wanted to say best of luck and recover soon. none of us ever want to see anyone get hurt.  i've been there, done that a year ago, fractured hip and torn shoulder (plus surgery). took a year to heal.  keep coming to the track and stay in contact.  again, the best with recovery.

14  General / Racing Scene / Re: Who'll win the Junior class Main at Ocala this weekend? on: June 21, 2006, 01:49:00 PM
not that there was any pressure to vote for Chirs ( since he is riding my x  "R", or the fact that he is my son, or the fact that he said he would not  put my engine back together  Wink, but he does know how to get it done.   pressure, no pressure
15  General / Racing Scene / Re: Who'll win the Junior class Main at Ocala this weekend? on: June 21, 2006, 01:16:12 PM
hey, with all the name changes to the class's, shouldn't the beginner call be the Boom Boom class,  the junior class be the Semi Pro Class (since most bike are modified)and also  because i don't want to be on the  short bus,  and then Pro Class is (run what you brung)?

derek, esr has the burnt cyc and is reworking it as we speek.  hopefully it will be back the start of next week along with the proper pipe.

i know everyone is busy in between heats with your on repairs and set ups, but everyone needs to take time to watch the mini's.  they are just as intense and serious as everyone else out there.  and yes i agree, it is some of the best racin' goin, especially when they start out as 5 and 6 year olds.  we are allways looking for  more mini's to show up.
17  General / Racing Scene / Re: Ocala Thunderbowl Quad Flattrack Sat June 24 on: June 12, 2006, 01:57:43 PM
ok, ok, enough all ready,   racin is racin,  i'll trade a little bump and grind for the brand new 250r motor that siezed up sat night because the air filter came off.  (thanks Doug  Wink
(doug was on the first place riders bar and pushin him  hard in the heat race untill that happen, Good Ridin, especiality for the first time on my bike with the changes that were made.
to all the Little Racers,  everyone of you guys are great,  and everyone there loved watching you guys race.  we all hope to see more of you.

sidebar;  all of us should take a lesson from them, go race your heart out and then go play swords or hide and seak and then go back to racin.  what a life.

Smiley Well with all the talk of HP., I will now tell the secrets of the Cali bike motor. 1988 250r with black painted case,  cyc has been painted silver,(better air flow)   after market pipe (don't know who made it, and don't care)  billet ESR shifter and brake pedals (saves weight), new hose (only because it sprang a leak), over sized air scoops (motor kept over heating) one new ESR motor mount and one stock motor mount (that's for motor torque) three differant tire sizes (and one of them goes flat all time) and with all of this it get a monsterus 37 H.P.   Grin  and that the truth.   and yet it can still run out front with three differant riders. Wink

Sliderguy !!   What kind of moronic post is this?  If you think you are funny you are way off base. Personal attacks are not tolerated by anyone, are not wanted by anyone, are not funny and are just plain rude.   I know everyone likes to kid each other but there is a line that you stop at, and joking or not, you positively pasted over that line.
