and that is fine, because the county/state wants they're money. it almost doesnt matter what you register, as long as you got the green. i think thats a beautiful way to beat the system. the only thing that stops us from riding is money.money, money, money. believe me, if the state found a way to make atv spots lucrative, we would be out there right now tearin it up. i really like the idea of plating our rides. if you try hard enough, its possible to plate your atv. but are you allowed to take registered on the riding trails?

well i never thought of it that way. thats a great attitude. also, i must have not seen the right spot. i was looking at the spot in hendry county just north of 82 right by the lee county border. i hope these spots become a trend like you said. that would be cool having a bunch of different spots vs. only one huge spot. you might be onto something...

i hate to be the ahole but someone must. i just google earthed the spot that must be the site they will use and it just reminded me how little 640 acres is. i then became disapointed knowing that this spot will not be worth going to and how we all have accepted losing our freedom. im guilty. i didnt stand up like i should've. i hope you folks on the southwest will enjoy this spot. it should be nice for a few hours. once again, i apologize for any offense taken to my comments.

hello, Mr. Halas. i wont be able to attend the meeting on april 11th. i just want to show my concern with the issue of the forest. there isn't one legal place to ride atv's in south florida. this area was and would be a perfect candidate, and should be allowed. please help the cause. i want you to know i stand by and with rick valera. please let him represent myself and my family's atv riding issues. thank you.
sincerely, steve jahn, resident of the florida keys

i just feel that guy's pain and anger, and again, im not getting into details, im just pissed about my old spots, but most important is my freedom that doesnt exist anymore. i was born and raised in florida and i believe my time to move to a more rural area has passed me by already. i remember when you could go anywhere in the woods and not bother anyone. one day i will leave, but until then, you r stuck listening to me..... i live in the keys, so its really far for me anywhere i go. ive been riding at sand mountain lately, by the time i get home its midnight. i bought a piece of land in holopaw. that was my solution. it still would be nice to have a sweet spot in s. florida.

"QT314Nfla" it seems your words are a bit strong, your riding situation might be different from others. it sounds like you only have to worry about yourself. the only place for that is in central florida. i personally want a place to go and camp/ ride for 2-3 days at a time without having to pay something or adhere to rules. you havent taken the time to understand YOUR freedom in this state is diminishing. as far as you saying I'M just complaining and that I'M part of the problem, this last week a bunch of us have been organizing a protest to get back my riding spot in naples, see protest thread.

the flyer is super cool, but it needs to be more specific on the meeting place. i thought we were gathering at the bridge. if so, it should say, " just south of the 1-75 overpass on everglades blvd" and the time. everyone passing them out should put they're name and number on the back of it for further direction, maybe even some gps numbers, if anyone has them, then say we'll:" caravan to the gov center".

mike davis is going to be in tallahassee on march 11th for "sessions". it seems to be that everyone i called today is in a meeting, so i left the best messages i could.
everyone please call these numbers. just leave a message if nothing else. trust me it'll help. mike davis 239.417.6270 jim colleta 239.774.8097 jay slack us fish and wildlife 772.562.3909 x 300 randy smith sfwater district 561 686 8800x 6197
the point is to call and bother these people in a polite way, to get them talking and for us to be heard. i personally try to be very professional.
now i am going to my friends and Riva South to get these petitions signed and spread the word of the 11th.

thats the perfect thing to to is not buy an atv. the manufacturers dont put any money back into the sport, by securing lands for us to ride their bikes, so if theres nowhere to ride, why buy a bike. this guy doesnt want to look over his shoulder to see of the man is coming to ticket him and his family, join the club, there isnt anywhere to ride for free anymore. i thought this was a free country? not anymore
