Drop in bed liners actually offer more protection that spray in's.

I used to haul busted up concrete in my 150 sometimes.
One of the reasons I got a 250

The "ribs" on the bottom of the drop ins protect your bed from denting.
Spray in bed liners will let you dent your bed MUCH easier.

Plus it seems like the spray ins all fade.... I had the whole steel flatbed and bumper guard Rhino Lined on my F550.... I even paid $100 extra for the "uv coating".    It looked pretty faded after a yr or 2.

Ohhh  now we are "allowed"?

I heard that we "werent allowed" right after the SSQSA race there, and I thought it was weird because the guy who was running the show was telling us how he was glad we came, and he knew it was dusty, but they are working on it,etc.. etc..
(right before they passed out plaques)

He had nothing but positive things to say while we were there......

Then we leave and suddenly no quads are allowed anymore?

I still dont understand why we (quad riders) get the bad rep.

When I was at Morosso (and they held a dirtbike race on the same weekend as ours) I saw all the quad riders riding slow through the pits, being respectfull, helping each other out, stuff like that.

I saw dirtbike riders hauling ass and doing wheelies through the pits.

I also saw a rider IN RIDING GEAR, LOOKING AT THE RACE ORDER, PRE 10AM, DRINKING A BEER. (he was looking at the dirtbike race order, I made sure to check)

But "no more quads"................

Dont get me wrong I liked the track when it wasnt too dusty to see......  I just thought that whole situation was BS

7  General / Racing Scene / Re: Bartow 01/06 Sat night? Lets go! on: January 07, 2007, 02:17:00 PM
Im not goin to Bartow for awhile after my last time there.

I got there at 10 AM, left at like 3:30.    I literally was on the track for about 30 minutes all day.  Bikes get 17-19 minute practices... quads get like 8-9 minutes.

Hell, they groomed the track at around 12:30 and it wasnt "our turn" untill after 3:00.  (for real)

I told Dave.... but he always stands there like-  1. he doesnt undestand english or 2. He is compleately blowing me off and couldnt care less.  Either of the 2 frustrate the hell outta me!

Dam.....

Look at everybody talkin about #16.....     He must be a super star or something.....

heh-heh-heh

I was jus tryin to get some quality time on my bike.

I showed up last week to try to race at Bartow (after trying to practice somewhere else with no luck) and I was the only other quad there.  Whats up with that?

Then I tried to practice at Bartow Sunday.............and snapped my axle first time out.

So today....... I was lookin to put down some laps.

So   Who won out there in the sand pit?
Lyndon is already riding again?

That guy in the first pic on this page........... He looks pretty fast....... but one of his shock rezzies is bouncing around the bumper and frame in that pic....

He needs a new mechanic.

heh heh heh

As always.....top notch looking pics, Dorian.
11  General / Racing Scene / Re: Bartow MX (8/26) Anyone wanna race!? on: August 26, 2006, 09:01:44 AM
I should be there
12  General / Racing Scene / Re: SSQSA series riders on: August 14, 2006, 02:06:45 PM
I'll be there.

This is the first QUAD ONLY series in FL.
Anybody who is serious at all about racing, or just supporting our sport should be there, too.
Im trying to talk everyone I know who rides, to go race.  (hare scramble guys, also)
I'll probably bring a frind or 2, just to watch (gate fee)

We need a lot of people to show up to let everyone know we're serious.

Look at the STQRA or TQRA from TX.....
Id love to have something like that over here.

13  General / Racing Scene / Re: Quads at Lakeland Sunday 8-6 on: August 08, 2006, 12:44:32 PM
Well   That sucks....

I liked the track before (even though I kinda took myself out there)

I wasnt there on Sunday, but I did go ride at Mulberry for the first time in 2+ months.

I wasnt THAT slow......

Im thinkin about showin up at Waldo. I dunno yet.
14  General / Racing Scene / Re: Quad Only MX Series on: April 18, 2006, 10:55:45 AM
Id show up and race.....

and I think the MX track at Sand Mountain is awesome, I dont understand why no quads show up to race.

There are plenty of other tracks that are "easier"

Personally, I like that feeling you get the first time you clear a big jump you were a lil intimidated by.
