General / Tech Corner / tire / offset question
|
on: February 03, 2006, 05:20:28 PM
|
I tried to search and did not find a true answer. So I will try and ask here.
I have a '06 BF 750i
it comes with Tires sizes : Front- 25X8-12 and Rear 25X10-12
Will 25x10-12 work all around? Will 26X10-12 work all around?
I want to keep the Factory rims , so my real question is, will either of both of these sizes work with the factory offsets? steering or inside rubbing issues?
thanks

moral of the story....dont run from the police.
People our quick to bash the cop come monday morning quaterback time. He was trying to do his job representing his county and made a split second decsion. ..but was not some one in the military representing our entire country? Seems like he had more time than a split second to make his decison. I and the rest of us repect and pray for our Military Personel in the highest degree. Should not I and others respect our home land law enforcement in the same manner.
even if he was the passenger....he should have took control with his " friend" only going to the story and de-escalte the situation from the on set.
I know there is always more to the story than what the media wants to sensationalize on, so we will have to waht and see.

I did not think it was possible for one to get lost in the woods anywhere in Miami-dade county.
i also think the fire dept was grandstanding for the media....to cover up the same mistakes the first to riders did. both parties were not prepared... Just jumped on the ATV and took off.
seems the chopper should have be utililzed in the first place.

NFS might have a point about the media...it can back fire on us in a bad way.
Lets get the ball rolling for the trash clean up....invite the media
also we can take a lot of pics....post them on this board so others and lurkers can see what we have done.

I am new to the site, but a suggestion if I may. What do you think the interest would be in having two additional boards for the two different type of riders/machines? : Sport riders and Utility 4x4 riders. Or might it cause anomosity between the two different personalities

Thanks for the welcome GPS, I should have searched before I asked. Its just I am ready to make my first trip to Croom. I will have to travel about two hours there. Prolly will try to make a weekend out of it. I just want to know as much as I can about the place. I guess since I am new to this, even a bad place is a good place for me.

Naaaaaah... My, how times have changed, huh? Can you elaborate on your comment? At least it is a legal place to ride. I would like to see other similiar type parks open in this state . ( If you build it, they will come)

Even if you only use the Croom pass 5 times a year, that comes out to $10 a day trip. Pretty fair...and it helps show the state that riders are willing to pay to use a legal and regulated park to ride. They may see the need of opening additional type parks elswere in the state. If you do use your local place...keep it quiet and out of public view. The Yucca pen will prolly be off limits for a while due to all the activity so close to Burnstore and houses. (yet there were hundreds of acres deeper in and away from public view or hearing) be safe and take care

Hey Y'all I am new to the site and new to the ATV world. I have been wheeling the Jeep hard for the past 6 years from the "pen, to Brooksville, to ONF to Tellico trails in NC. Santa said I was good this year and brought me a 06 BF 750i. ( She is the Best Santa in the world) I just finished installing my winch (Warn 2.5). That went pretty smooth. This forum is a good way to begin organizing our efforts in keeping free land open. Take care and be safe ....
