Tony, we're glad to hear that you're alright, other than the lingering pain of course. get some pain meds and you'll be fine. get well soon.

4X4matt, if you're so bent about the sport quads stirring up the dust at C&R then you should be complaining about the yahoo's in the trucks, jeeps, and other contraptions....... oh, and utility quads as well. i've been there the last three times, and it certainly isn't only "SOME" of the sports quads acting a fool and stirring up dust. i've seen many types of vehicles and people stirring up dust, not just the sport quads. don't be biased, spread the grief.

here is some a friend did      http://www.sellingforowner.com/outlaws/index.html

hey troy, have him change that to 300 ft. instead of 300 yds. but that looks pretty sweet.

also, change priates to pirates. none the less, the bikes and videos look sweet.
4  General / Open Discussion / Re: How can this happen? on: April 13, 2007, 07:40:33 AM
we live in a double standard society. the colored folk can drop the "N" bomb on each other and degrade their woman in rap, but it's an eternal sin if good ole whitey does it. i don't like it regaurdless of who says it, but there is a double standard. the comments didn't seem racial to me, wrong, but not racial. now that the charges againt the duke lacrosse players have been dropped due to lack of evidence and false statements. is al sharpton, jesse jackson, and the like going to appologize to them for raking them over the coals without due process?Huh yeah right. but good ole AS expected imus to appologize, which he did. it's BS.
5  General / Racing Scene / drag racing, where? on: January 15, 2006, 10:02:43 AM
i've noticed that some people have some quads that are set up to drag race and i was wondering where they're racing. i live in tampa and i wouldn't mind traveling a little in order to watch some racing but i have no clue where to go. if someone could help me out i would appreciate.

We have the same problem in the boating community...too many no-wake zones and too many manatee huggers.

The big manufacturers won't spend profit on heliping their customers..stupid huh?
i've been reading in the local tampa papers about land being lost to developement that was used or could be used for marinas and boat ramps. it's not looking good, if this crap continues eventually there'll be no places to ride, no places to hunt, and not many places to launch the boat.
7  General / Open Discussion / Re: croom may be $100 next year on: January 15, 2006, 09:39:58 AM
I wouldn't mind paying 100 bucks for  a year pass if they did something to maintain the place.

I mean how hard would it grade the outside boundary near the back fence?

I ride a 450r, and it's a bit tough...I can't imagine tackling those whoops on something with a lesser suspension.

It just seems like prices are going up, but the service stays the same.

I've been hearing that they were suppose to put a track at Croom for the past 5 years now.

UncleRico
i agree that the riding there is terrible and it would be nice if they did maintain some trails but i feel that one of the reasons is that they don't do it is to keep the speeds down. as far as the track i think it may be because of liability issues, also, as lt250r said that someone will have to do more work. that place makes a ton of money each year, it seems to me that they could do some more things to make the riding a little more enjoyable, but maintaining trails would be a full time job because that place is ridden hard. another thing they could to is put in more camp sites, there's plenty of room to do it.
