Tony, I am very sorry to hear that. I can't even begin to know what your going through with 3 boys of my own. If there is anything your family needs, please ask. We had some great times with your family riding in Ocala and racing. Jessy was a great kid. Jason and Matt

Maybe. May run this instead of the nationals this year due to the economy. Just need to find a sponsor to help out with the entry fee. Hopefully can find some help before then.

Got a new one. Thanks Erik and everyone for checking. The new rod never came in, so the Honda is out for this weekend. Blew up a Yamaha today at Bithlo. Its was a head done by XXX Motorsports. He just put new seats and valves in it, charged my brother almost $500 and got 6 laps on it. It looks like someone beat the piston with a jackhammer for about an hour. 3 out of the 5 valves were ripped off and the other 2 were sideways. One of the valve heads was in the air boot. Kind of knew it wasn't going to be good. The response from XXX was sorry for your loss and check ebay for a new top end. The head, piston, and cylinder are destroyed. DO NOT take your motor to XXX Motorsports in Melbourne. It is the third or fourth motor he screwed up on us and the last. He always seems to not tighten the cam bolts or something else of great importance because he is always on the phone. If you want it done right, then send your motor to Mike at ATP. Thank you XXX motorsports for yet another quality job.

Matt and I would like to say thank you to Don Blue and his wife with Blue Rok Racing and Mike and his wife with ATP for all their help and support this weekend. I would also like to say thanks to everyone else that offered a helping hand. Matts luck has to change soon. I believe we can get him back on track with the help of all these great people. Great job to the riders that had better luck.

Thanks trx9, rebba, yolanda, and everyone else. I think we have come up with some things. Mike and his wife at ATP have been more help than anyone could ever ask. I believe we have access to a race head for the Honda, I built a core for the pipe, its about 150 decibels, so Matt may have to wear ear plugs during the race. Even if we miss Waldo, I think there is a glimmer of hope for AL. If we need anything else, I will post for some more help. It seems a little strange having to ask for help when we were always one of the ones offering our help to others. Thanks again.

Thanks everyone for the help and support in this very confusing time for Matt. As far as bikes go, the tranny came apart at Reddick on the Suzuki and the pipe broke on the Honda the other day. When the core broke in the pipe, it blocked the exhaust and created pressure in the motor and cracked the head. We are trying to put one of the bikes back together so he can hopefully make the AL race, but its not looking very good right now. I had all the Honda bikes and Honda parts, but I sold them all, now I wish I had them all back. Thanks again

I have a 2005 Honda 450 with about 1 hour on it. I bought it for Matts race bike next year, but plans have changed and i am neediing to sell it. It has black plastics and is still stock for someone to build it the way they want to. I have $4700 in it. Make an offer. I also have 2 national championship race bikes for sale also. They were John Natalies race bikes. I have a little under $20000 in each of them. Make an offer. Here are the race bikes.

Yes, you are correct. I didn't see that they were different votes. Alex, Jeffery, and Neal have been nominated for ATVSport Youth Rider of the Year. It is under atvsport.com, and then under 2007 Peoples Choice Awards. Thank you for the heads up.

Don't forget to vote for Alex Hammond for MX Youth Rider of the Year. He is the only youth rider in the country to win a championship in both the GNC and the WPSA in the same class. Rastrelli is a good friend and also a great rider. He won 2 championships also, but in different classes. Alex and Angela Butler are the only 2 people in the country to win the same class in both series. With the series split, there are 2 national champions in every class, except those 2. Who is the real champion in each class??? Alex and Angela are the only 2 that can say they are the National Champion. If Alex doesn't win, then I hope Jeffery wins it. He won the youth rider of the year last week at the ATVA banquet. Great job Jeffery.

I was going to say what Brett said. Show up to the SSQSA races this winter and put your money up and let see what happens. We can sit here all day and say this person is the fastest or that person is the fastest, but there is more to it than being fast. You can be the fastest person in the world, but never finish a race because you wreck all the time. Josh Williams is fast and did good this year, but some of the fastest riders in Florida didn't get a chance to race due to injury. Matt, Bowen, and Devin were all out due to injury. These riders would have been in the top 5 or 3 without a doubt. Matt was 2 seconds a lap faster than Greg Gee the week before AL before he broke his shoulder. Greg just got a Can-am factory ride. Is Greg Gee faster than our Florida riders, hell no, but he had no injuries and finished consistant. MX is not drag racing. There is a whole lot more than just being fast. Everyone needs to show up to our quad series and lets show these tracks that we have the numbers too like the bikes and that Florida has some the FASTEST racers in the country.

The fastest mxers in Florida are Jeremy Lawson, Matt Bremer, Chris Bowen, Josh Williams, Rastrelli, Neal McGrath, Jake, Thacker, and the fastest 50 quad in the country is Alex Hammond. He won both the 2007 GNC and WPSA Chamionships.

Not everyone that crashed this weekend was 18. Matt is 17. The SEQUADS age rule is pretty good. I think letting the younger riders race a 450 is great. It is up to the parents to see if their kids are riding over their heads. If the parents don't, then the racers at the SSQSA will. Rastrelli is a great example. He is 14 and got 2nd in the 2nd money race and 3rd overall(only because Matt wrecked). He has skills way above his age. If he was a danger to himself or any other rider, then his Dad would be the first one to put him in a lower class, or the other A and money riders would ask him to step down. Matt and Bowen feel very comfortable racing next to Rastrelli, but would not very comfortable racing next to some of the other 14 year olds. That is why they race in the B or C class.

Thanks Jeremy for everything you did all week long. Matt had a great time helping you get the track ready for the weekend. He got lots of seat time before the race and not much during the race. He is feeling much better today. He will be ready for practice on Tuesday night. Thanks to Don Blue for all his help with his equipment and manpower. I would love to see AMP Xtreme on the schedule more than once. It needs to take the place of at least two other tracks. With a track and track owners like that, we don't need to go to tiny little tracks or tracks that quit us. Just my opinion. Thanks again Jeremy and all your staff.

Ya Jake, it was a good day of riding. There were alot of quads again. This getting shorted on time is getting to be BS!!! We have the numbers, our money looks the same as a dirt biker, and they charged us the same, so what is the deal Lakeland. They claimed 12 minutes for each group, NOT. The bikes got 12-15 and the quads got about 5 laps or less. At maybe 2 minutes a lap, that is only 10 minutes. I don't mind driving all the way over there if we get what we paid for, but this is nonsense. I am not one to complain, but come on guys. The new track is awesome and we would like to ride there, but 8-10 minute sessions will not do it for us. Matt needs 20-25 for training and 15 just to break a sweat. I know we wont get 20 minute, but 15 is what we paid for. We will give it one more try and if it continues, then we will be back at Bithlo. Their new layout is very good now also, and they give a full 20 minutes per group for the same $20.
