Someone needs to set up wetlands (for ORV's) to trade for some brush clearing in the south blocks...we would be elated     Kiss

Does any of the Naples locals or Sportsmen groups know whats going on with the proposed ATV area for Bad Luck Prairie?  Has anyone talked or asked the local DOF or FWC about it?  The website Save Bad Luck has not been updated for a couple months now.  Its not a good sign when nobody talks about it anymore.  I wish the Off-Highway Advisory Committee was easier to get in touch with.  We need them to push for this to happen.

We are still holding our breath till Oct. 30th. Really dont expect much, I took my boy out fishing last weekend fishing is still good.Camping is open along the big tee for $5, it is very quiet out there these days.
This week's article in Naples paper about the land swap to build homes. This seems unbelievable that one of the first steps in this project is to trade land that could have been used to fulfill a promise for an ATV riding area, Instead wetlands are given to septic tank leaking urban sprawl to provide money for "tree removal"...money must be tight.
I cant imagine ORV riding being more detramental than pesicides and fertilizer being sprayed all over this land !!

This other article is one of several depict scientists  stating over and over that water storage projects wont work because of algae blooms in storage areas ,also  in gulf when released (caused by their run-off). Of course the state researched this very well before making citizens sell their land and taking public property???
